Am glad you are happy in your vocation. Sorry for the irritating reminder though.x who says we need to be clutter. Free to be happy? Its horses for courses I hate clutter but my sister is comforted by it. X books are fine. I like them lined up and in order. That's just me thoughTrying to shift that debt!0

Loving the manifesto Buffy - might have ago at that as all this election stuff is going to feel like a long haul so why not turn it into something personal and productive!
many of your statements would be on my list - and the single thing (although I have kids) is something is often on my mind! When you are having a hard time in work or elsewhere it would just be nice to know that someone is there for you - but at the same time being able to do as you please and be master of your own destiny is equally empowering!
Hope work stress improves too as no doubt that is not helping with your mind set - sending you dodgy hugs :grouphug:0 -

Ha ha
Bought the book in May
Did my clothes, some of the CDs and then had been working Saturdays for a while and everything stopped!
Found a Flylady group on FB and one woman there started a Kon Marie group which I am also a member of! I love it, I LOVE her no messing get on with it approach and she doesn't want you take forever over things. It is great. Just hard when you are working and by the time the summer came I had forgotten about the book entirely.
any how I will check out the thread
I came to say I am 2727 pounds in debt, I also paid off my car insurance (had the money saved for both Mum and I!) and car tax
So skint but ok. Quite pleased really to have managed to save the money etc.

I am debating with myself.
I have 3300 in savings.
It is across various accounts. All easy access and one ISA.
My debt is of today, £2700.
I have paid the car insurance. the dogs' have been groomed. Even with paying off the debt I should end up with about 600 left.
I am so tempted to pay off the bloody card. I am in the mood (or a mood!!) to have new starts and get things DONE.
Equally tho, no buffer if things go wrong at work etc. This is a worry when you have temp contract etc.
The main reason why I am feeling like this is I was sort of vaguely planning to go on holiday with my friend. She has decided to go with her boyfriend instead - this is for the best as I did wonder if it would actually work out. On the quiet I had saved 270 towards to this.
I need to get on with savings. I don't know. I am so slow at paying it off. I have another year on the no interest thing.
What do you think?Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Oooooh Buffy,
I would pay the card off in a heartbeat. Am I right in thinking you will then have £870 left over (£600 savings / £270 from holiday).
I understand your worry about not having much savings left, but without the cc payments surely you could build it back up pretty quickly.
Nice to have this dilemma though xxxx0
