Great news daisy. I've got an 8+1 scan on Thursday and can't wait!
  • Fab news daisi.

Got my first scan tues. Cannot wait!
  • Question for you all.....how quite did you find yourself expanding?

I lost a fair bit of weight last year and obviously not working on that anymore at the moment. I'm 6+2 going by the date of lmp and when I was getting dressed there (pj day but having to go out this evening!) I noticed that I can no longer 'suck it in'. Still in my smallest jeans but wondering for how much longer!

  • Great news Daisi :D, hopefully you will feel less anxious now x

I am 11 weeks tomorrow and have not expanded at all :-/ I get quite bloated due to constipation, but once I have 'been' my body is still as it was. I know because I have been taking pics :D
My tummy does feel harder though.

What exercise are others doing now? I used to do Zumba and Yoga but have not done for weeks due to fatigue. I had a spurt of energy yesterday so did a Zumba class on the xbox and then did a yoga dvd straight after. I find Zumba still very enjoyable but daren't twist as I would have before and I avoided some yoga positions all together. Due to a lack of bump I do not feel ready to join a prenatal yoga class. I feel so lazy lately.
  • Great news Daisie, glad it went well.

My anxiety has gone through the roof and keep googling. It's stopping me from sleeping and OH is trying to tell me to calm down.

Oh no! How far are you now Danielle? I am not sure about others but my anxiety and the need to Google and worry about everything I read stopped at around 8-9 weeks. I too was struggling to sleep, I could nod off but would wake in the early hours and not get back to sleep. I have been sleeping much better for about 1-2 weeks. So hopefully it may calm for you?
Do you have any particular worries?

Thanks Jen, not sure if it's just over eating (it's the only thing that stops me feeling sick sometimes although I'm not actually sick) but there's definitely a difference. Will have to do the lie down test tonight and see how it looks! Have asked DH to take pics but he's refused so far, he will do as he's asked one of these days hehe!

I'm still curling as I usually do in winter, always stop running in winter due to where I live and the options of routes being severely restricted due to country roads so doubt I'll be starting that up this year agIn! Not sure what I'm gonna do when the curling season finishes!

I am the same lately with eating, not because of nausea but hunger. When I first found out I was pg I could only manage smaller portions than usual, but in the last few nights after dinner I do not feel full at all. I have been snacking loads on sushi (the supermarket packs with cooked fish) or cherry tomatoes, but lately I just want to eat all the time. That's why I am also keen to maintain some form of exercise.

I hate going out in the winter dark nights. I can't wait until the clocks change and I can start getting me bike out again in the evening. Have you thought about cycling? I hate running, its just not for me but I can go out all day on the bike.

I'm 8+5. I'm googling things that go wrong up to the 12 weeks like mmc. Reading horror stories on the net. I'm driving myself and hubby insane. Oh and I'm still taking HPT's.

  • Cycling, yip I can manage that one, maybe! Just need a kick up the butt to get out there and do it. Hubby is big into it so I feel like I'm holding him back when we go together but he has hundreds of routes up his sleeve round here of different lengths, it's an area I don't know that well yet so good for us to go together. As you say, just need the clocks to change now!
