Md, I'm really, really, really sorry. It's awful and it really should not happen to anyone. Make sure you look after yourself. I found the MC thread on here helped me when I needed it. Mdhughes sorry to hear that. Sending hugs and positive thoughts your way. The priority right now is you so make sure you are taking care of number 1.
T2D, I'm with you on that, didn't realise I had dozed off at work the other day until my phone rang and I had a sore forehead from where it was resting on the desk, and was in bed on Wednesday night at 8.45! Mum was frightened to call last night at 10 as she thought I'd be asleep by then! Surprised I've made it this far tonight, the onesie has been onside 2.15 when I took the work clothes off!No longer ...tobe! mdhughes SO sorry for you. Hope you have enough support to get you through this.
I also can't keep up with all the posts so apologies for missing other news. I have my booking in appointment in Tuesday all being well. We have let close family know which was odd because I mostly feel guilty that I've made a mistake and raised other people's hope for a delusion. My husband maintains that being nearly 3 weeks late, two bfp, being exhausted (ps whoever thought it was too early to go to bed at 9.30 has my respect - it was 8.30 for me on Thursday), having sore boobs - we both think they are bigger - and now some attractive blue veins are probably not coincidental.
Does anyone else have trouble sleeping? I am finding that even though I crash and burn anytime from 8.30am my night sleep is really disturbed which is unusual for me. The confounding factor is that my husband has insomnia so can't work out if I am sleeping lighter and just more disturbed by his restlessness. We've agreed to boot him out of the bedroom currently when awake and only come back in when/if he's sleepy.
I used to get a massage once a month (usually through sites like Groupon) but no-one will touch me now! Therefore had been sitting up (not lying down) and just getting husband to do my shoulder and upper back with a lavender massage oil but now read lavender might be out too?
Apologies for memory fail but whoever went for their scan and then wasn't told about their consultant appointment - you have my sympathy. I work for the NHS and am amazed by how often we assume people know what to expect because we've done it day in day out and forget this is new for other people! I always have to remember to slow down and not worry if I'm boring them with what I think is the obvious because chances are it isn't for them.Met DH to be 2010

Thank you for the explanation, it does make a lot of sense. I just feel guilty for wasting the consultant's valuable time by missing the appointment, even though I knew nothing about it in the first place, so shouldn't feel guilty. Hormones!

Miss_I great news on your scan, but it is rubbish you was not made aware about the consultant appointment. I was a little confused by my scan appointment letter. I have an appointment time but the letter said I may be waiting 2 hours to see a midwife/doctor. I did wonder if I had to wait to see someone else. Doe any of the lurkers from the 12-24 week thread know?
It would be nice to know if I will be there like 30 mins or 3 hours!
I was checking out maternity wear on ASOS last night but could not bring myself to buy anything, I was also put off by buying other clothes too. I did end up order 5 pairs of shoes though! Never ordered so many at once. Must be the hormones, at least that's what I told my hubby this morning when he took delivery of them0
