MDHughes03 Fingers crossed for you. Like Peonie, I found I had a lot of blood loss when I miscarried at 5 weeks once. Really hope it's nothing bad for you.
LailaP I had a LLETZ procedure about 18 months ago and the gynaecologist said that because my cervix would be slighter weaker, there was an increased chance of baby arriving about 2 weeks early. She said that if the procedure was repeated, the chance of baby being premature would be increased.
Bluebell1000 Sorry to hear you've had such a rubbish day: hope you get a good night's sleep tonight and that tomorrow is better!
daisygg I've also been looking at maternity clothes but they look too big. Glad to know I'm not the only one who's looking though (in the nicest possible way!). I've been wearing empire line dresses and blouses. I haven't been able to do my jeans up for a couple of weeks and at work I've just worn my trousers undone but with a hair band round the button and through the button loop. Obviously I've been wearing long shirts or jumpers over the top! Am definitely going to invest in a bump band soon.0 -
Thanks for the replies guys, I sometimes feel as if I only come on here to freak out-I don't mean to, sorry!
No, I haven't had a mc before, this is my first pregnancy (I'm sure you couldn't tell from my constant paranoia!!). You're right of course that there would likely be a lot more blood-thank you for being graphic Peonie, it really helped me gain a bit of perspective! And you've all helped me relax a bit about it.
The docs and EPU don't want to see me unless the bleeding is really heavy or I experience bad cramps, and want me to wait for my scan on Monday-which is fair enough. In moments of clarity I can see I'm being scary hormonal lady when I go all panicky and think I can't possibly wait until Monday lol
Really am so pleased for those great scan results today thank you all so much for keeping me (almost!) sane xxxRemember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -

No need to apologise, it's good to have a place to come if you need to freak out! And as for paranoia, I think that's part and parcel of pregnancy. I scare myself about 10 times a day ("I've got a cramp/I shouldn't have lifted that/I haven't felt sick for at least 20 minutes!"). Glad to hear you're feeling a bit more relaxed now.0 -
So glad T2D. Had fingers crossed all day that you'd see the heartbeat. Made up for you.
I'm thinking of booking another private scan. I really can't afford to but keep having awful nightmares that it's all over and i'm oblivious. Hideous. Scared to sleep. Because i need internal scans though the only place i can find locally to do it is £100.... OH wants us to book it but i don't know what to do.
Got two more appointments to the wonderfully scarily named 'pre-term labour' clinic and the 'fetal medicine unit' today. 12 week scan on 10/03, back for PTL clinic on 13/03 then back again for FMU on 17/03. I feel like I'm going to need a designated parking space at that hospital soon!0 -
TCD I say do it if it's going to make you feel better.
However, do you think you'll start worrying again a few days after that scan?

I went to bed at 8pm last night - when does the tiredness end!!?0
-
WTDN, The tiredness settled a bit for me at around 15 weeks, as did the nausea and sickness. It has all came back a bit in the last couple of weeks though! (I'm 25+6 now) I am going to a work night out next week and nearly cried when I found out the table is booked for our meal at 8.15! I will need to have something to eat and a sleep before I go out!
Hope you start to perk up soon x0 -

Just delurking from the pregnancy thread to say like mrshappy my tiredness has come and gone. I was ridiculously tired during the first trimester, then it seemed to get a little better for a few weeks, now I'm in the third trimester it's come back with a vengeanceso I would hope you start to get a little more energy soon, even if it's just for a few weeks on and off!
Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

I'm already worrying again after a scan only yesterday! Although the happy elation for a while is almost worth it. Yesterday was sort of like bfp day - very happy, but then today the worry kicks back in!0 -
Hope that things have settled down for you mdhughes. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about. I had a tiny bit of blood two weeks ago, and on my early scan Monday morning we could see the likely source of the bleed, but the nurse said that there's a strong embryonic wall and is far enough away from baby not to be a worry. So I'm taking things as they go and feeling way less paranoid now that we've seen a lovely heartbeat. Pretty magical! Everything seems spot on size wise and due date estimated for 5th October.
I can't wait to get my energy back, before the IUI I was swimming twice a week, cycling approx 60 miles a week, and running approx 15 miles a week along with four weight/floor exercise sessions a week. This week so far I have done 1 7 mile bike ride and that's it! So weird feeling like a different version of myself, but just trying to listen to my body rather than make myself exercise. Am also totally slacking on household chores!
Did anyone else change from feeling like they were just pregnant to feeling like they were growing another being after their scan!? Such exciting times!Total money owed: [STRIKE]31/07/11- £17,877[/STRIKE], LBM - 14/10/12 :j, 01/06/13 - £0 DEBT FREE!!!!
