Ive not had it myself but have read it!!!8217;s very common and nothing to worry about but if call and ask if it will put your mind at rest.
My midwife and the hospital have said they would rather people ask questions than worry

I self referred to the midwives a few days after we found out (so just over 4 weeks... I was keen to get in the system as we were moving house and I wanted any letters to get to us before we did move) I had my appointment at 8 weeks, scan is on Tuesday at 11+6.

I called my drs at 5 weeks just after we found out and they asked me to call back at 7 weeks which I will be tomorrow. They did tell me that the booking in app will be 90mins and the midwife only does them on a Thursday avo....I work every Thursday but my bosses are pretty good so I'm sure they'll be ok when I tell them I might be late in. I swear time seems to have slowed down to a snails pace since we found out, getting to the midwife app seems to be taking forever!
I fell in love with a tutti bambini cozee crib last weekend on a local fb page, it was just gorgeous and a bargain with all the bedding with it! I dithered over it cos I didn't think hubby would let me buy it yet, but when I showed him he told me to go for it if I like it that much!! Sods law it had sold when I messaged them though i was adamant I want bothered by the bedside cribs til I saw that one, now my heart is set on that exact make haha.

(Sneaking back over here despite graduating ages ago) We have the cozee crib, Mrsburrows - I love it! We bought new, but they seem to pop up on ebay a lot. Or if you get further along and book onto an expectant parent event at a Mothercare store I think you get 15% off or something? We're waiting to see what they give us when we go, and if it is a decent percentage off that's when we'll get more stuff, some sheets for the crib, more clothes etc.

Had our scan today! Was amazing to see baby wriggling about! Everything looks good so fingers crossed our combined test comes back OK in a few days! Link to pic below

I thought the morning sickness had come back with a vengeance on Sunday, felt shockingly awful, stomach pains and vomiting. Then DH started with it yesterday, turns out it was a stomach bug! I'd just been motoring through, took toddler to the park and a caf! whilst DH did some DIY and then bathed him and put him to bed, all whilst throwing up. DH came home early from work and went straight to bed with it! I'll be reminding him of that next time I'm ill!
