Just carry around a glass of whatever you normally drink, no one will actually notice you aren't drinking it.

I had a glass of bubbles sat in front of me at our wedding Friday (had to go and ask for it as the venue staff knew i was pregnant) just to hold for the toasts.
    Then we told everyone anyway.
Only my stepsister clocked I had been drinking juice but I rarely drank before anyway so it wasn!!!8217;t unusual.
Plus I get migraines so I say alcohol makes it worse.

    Morning, ladies!

    Hope you're all doing well.

Ask the barman to make you something that looks alcoholic - some sort of fizz in a champagne flute. Also if you just carry around a drink most people won't even notice you aren't drinking from it, like Rambosmum said. If anyone does clock, you could always say you were out the night before and have a hangover and can't face it!

I've been feeling pretty ropey the last week. All day nausea and extreme fatigue :( And I'm self-employed, so I"m getting really far behind with work and panicking about it :( ) It kicks in about lunchtime so I'm just trying to get as much done in the mornings as I can before I become useless and have to lie in bed!

We got our letter through for our 12-week scan. It's on the 23rd so only three weeks to go! Excited but nervous.

    Hello all

Now past the 8 week stage. I had my first appointment with my midwife on Sunday just gone, that was an eye opener taking us through things, health wise and tests. I had to give a blood test and urine sample, Im useless at peeing into things but I did quite well to pee into the little cup she gave me! As I am overweight (I know I am) I will need to be tested for gestational diabetes at 28 weeks. Although I am overweight I am very fit and active.

Can I ask is anybody else struggling in this heat? Im finding it is making me warmer quicker and that in turn makes me feel slightly sick. Its the only time Ive really felt nauseous throughout this pregnancy so far. Im struggling to eat too with the heat. The only way I can deal with it is little meals more often and nothing warm it has all been salads, sandwiches, cold meats and that sort of thing.

My birthday next week, it is crazy to think this is my last one on my own so to speak.

Yeah, I think the heat is making my nausea worse. It's definitely worse in this pregnancy than in my last. And I can't keep water down properly. I'll be very glad when this stage passes. Hopefully be only a couple of weeks more.

I vomited for the first time a couple of days ago which I think was due to the heat making my nausea worse. I also just feel like I've been zapped of any energy this week.

I was hoping to get my booking appointment soon but looks like the midwife is fully booked until the middle of this month when I'll be about 10 weeks. When did everyone else have theirs?

I have been feeling nauseous too, and the heat has sapped all my energy. However, my biggest problem at the moment is really painful trapped gas! Between that and the heat I am waking up a couple of times a night which is such a pain.

I will have my booking in appointment with my midwife next week, at which point I will be 6 weeks.

The heat is what I'm struggling with the most, and it definitely makes the nausea worse! I am feeling a lot better now though than I was, part of me is having a little inward panic that something might be wrong but I'm accepting that there is nothing that I can do that would stop that so there is no point in worrying. It's just under 3 weeks until the scan so I will wait until then. I've already had my midwife appoint which was bang on 8 weeks.

    Hello all

    Hope everyone is doing ok?

I got my letter for my scan today, 30th July which will make me 12 weeks +1 day. I am really excited, we will see our little bundle of joy on a screen and will be able to make it common knowledge after that.

It is my birthday 10th and our 3rd anniversary 8th so we have both got next week off work. I have not had this much time off so far this year so I am really in need of the break and it will be nice for us to have some time together.
