I spotted Celepie on there (well assumed anyway), it's so much busier than here which is nice at some points, but it's also nice that it's quieter over here. It's easy to forget that we're at the beginning of Feb and some on there are 3-4 weeks behind so it is reassuring that we've got this far. Luckily we all have our scans within a few days of each other, and it's not that long to wait now! (Fred btw!)

Had my booking in today and got my letter for the dating scan through yesterday, it will be on the 30th when I will be 12+2. Starting to feel more real now but I don't want to let myself feel too excited until I know baby is doing well.

Hope everyone else is well. Fingers crossed it looks like there will be quite a few of us joining the next thread at a similar time which is nice!

    Hi All

Please can I join this board, I have moved across from the TTC forum. I think I am around 4 weeks + 4. I initially did a test on Wednesday, and got 2 BFP's, but had very light bleeding all of last week, so was slightly worried with what was going on.

I told my OH last night, he was over the moon and couldn't believe it!

I will be going to my GP to fill in the appropriate forms next week, and keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed that we have a smooth and trouble free 9 months.

    Thanks x

I know what you mean about the nausea Mrs Burrow, I am getting it every morning as soon as I wake up! I am now keeping a stash of popcorn in my bedside drawer to nibble on before I get up, and that helps a lot. I am used to waking up and being alert/awake instantly, and getting up and doing stuff immediately, so it's a bit odd for me to have to sit in bed for 15 mins to let nausea subside!

I am slightly concerned that I am putting on weight already (I am 7+1), probably due to increased snacking to ease nausea. Doctor said I shouldnt eat any extra than normal until third trimester! Has anyone else found this?

Just when I thought the nausea was subsiding, I get another set! Not long to go now though, hopefully I'll be feeling better soon for all the right reasons.

I can't keep up with the other thread, I haven't posted on it for ages as I just lose track of everyone!

    Good Morning All

I think I may have got my dates slightly wrong, as I am now 6 weeks today.

For those of you who are approaching the 12 weeks, when did the midwife first make contact...did you have to wait long?

I hope everyone is having nice weekends xx

Lola, I self referred via the GP receptionist at 7 weeks and they gave me a booking in appointment for 10 weeks about a week later. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow, scan on Thursday.

I went to my GP about 6 weeks and heard from the midwife about 8 weeks. Had my booking at 10 weeks. I'm 11 weeks today.

Sorry if TMI but me and my partner DTD for the first time today since getting a BFP and I've got some pink/brown spotting afterwards which seems to be stopping now. Was always worried this would happen so kept putting off having sex. I've been reading spotting is common after sex in pregnancy and is nothing to worry about. Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure whether to contact the midwife.
