Hi everyone can I join?
Got my bfp last week and am 5 weeks todayThe nausea has kicked in today, and already had sore boobs and bloating. Getting some low down discomfort/ cramps too so I hope that's normal.
My anxiety is through the roof now though, can't stop thinking about it going wrong and don't want to get excited in case it does. How does everyone else manage with this?0 -
Add me to the can I join in list, got married last sat and couple days later got a bfp! Bought a clearblue digital on Thursday evening to make my poor hubby believe lol. Have to admit I was slightly nervous waiting for the result, it felt like a lifetime. Had a little bleeding last night which I'm hoping is just implantation as I'm around the 5 weeks mark (1st day lmp 4th june). I'm calling the drs too book in with them tomorrow.
I already have a 12 and almost 10 year old from my first marriage and am finding it so hard to keep it secret from them atm, especially my 12 year old daughter. We have agreed we will tell parents and maybe the kids soon.....fingers and legs crossed for us all x0 -

Congratulations and welcome BapBap and MrsBurrows. Nice timing for you MrsBurrows.
Booking in on Thursday for me. Will hopefully get my scan date then. So nervous. I hate the scans!0 -
Rambosmum I know what you mean, the anxiety goes through the roof whole you wair for them to say everything is ok....kinda takes a little of the excitement off it!
Well the nausea has kicked in bigtime, omg part of me wishes I was actually being sick because constantly feeling it is awful. I got up with hubby at 6am and as soon as I got out of bed the nausea started, had a nice warm soak in the bath which eased it a little til I got out....if only I could stay in the bath all day!
Work is shattering me atm, I work in retail and am on my feet most of my 8 hr shift, although I have told a couple of my closest colleagues and they have taken pity on me and let me sit on a till for a while when they can. The other day the nausea kicked in later in the evening because we were so busy and I hadn't had my break.....I started to feel that bad I did consider telling them I needed to go home. I started to feel better about an hr after I had my break and my tea.
I can't wait for the weekend for my days off!0 -
Had my booking in today, they were very nice. I was so scared but they were very understanding.
Scan is 26/7 so 2 weeks today. Can't wait to see if everything is ok.0 -
Welcome to the newbies!
I've been following a thread on another forum where they've lost four posters to miscarriages in the past few days which is bringing it home just how delicate the first 12 weeks areI've got 12 days until our scan and have so far managed to avoid going off and booking an early one.

We are almost scan buddies, HopHop! Mine is a week on Monday. I'm also on a February 2018 due date thread on another forum and it's been awful seeing the numbers drop over this first 12 weeks. It's made me very anxious, but I'm just clinging to the fact I have no reason to think anything is wrong and that the odds are on my favour. But it's such a worrying time. I just want to see that wriggly little bean.0
