That sounds good, Freddie. Are you going to do a Christmas day reveal? As well as cards I like the idea of putting scan pictures in make-your-own crackers. For us that would mean waiting an extra 2.5 weeks and I don't think Hubby will be able to keep his trap shut for long enough (he's already said he wants to WhatsApp his mum a scan pic before we've even left the car park to tell her!)
Spending the weekend with my SIL and Trainee BIL this weekend, and they're staying over. I'm worried about hiding it from them and I've been in half a mind to just tell them, but don't say anything and don't get excited yet. I'll see how I'm feeling, but me not having a glass of something on a Saturday night will raise TBIL's eyebrows; even if I'm not collapsed in a heap, eating weird stuff and complaining of a headache with my nose bleeding!0 -
So I did as I suggested earlier this morning. Called parents.
But nosy mum has since gone on the school website and checked the latest newsletter which says when the school Christmas lunch is on that date when I said we would be off.
Then phoned me to let me know so I don't end up missing work!
All I could think to say was they must have got the date wrong on the newsletter. But I don't think I sounded very convincing.

This sucks. As I know I'd just end up digging a deeper hole, and if I now change the story it'll just sound too odd. Why does she have to be so bloody nosy!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

I had a BFP a few days ago and Lmp puts me about 5weeks 3days so still very early days.
Lots of symptom spotting going onplenty of back ground nausea but no sign of Hyperemesis so far! Fingers crossed as it was horrendous from conception with superman and master H!

She's feeling very tired and she's gone off a lot of foods. Worse in the evening
Its making the evening meal a nightmare to sort out...especially as DS has been fussy with his food the last few days
Finding something that will suit both of them has become very difficult!
Our meal plan has gone out the window for now. Hopefully she'll star feeling better in a few weeks!

I'm still eating nonsense - I find that I think I want some "proper" food, but when it comes to it I either don't enjoy it, can't eat much of it or feel iller afterwards. I hope the fact that I at least want some real things sometimes is a good sign! I'm 11+1 now so should be coming to the end of this rubbish (I think).
Meal plans are out of the window here too! I do all the cooking so hubs is eating weird stuff too. I think the cat is eating best of all!0 -
OH really not feeling well the last two days. She didn't manage to eat breakfast yesterday as she was feeling very nauseas. When she arrived home from work she went straight up to bed - apparently she'd been feeling really sick all day and had barely eaten anything.
She had a small amount of toast and shortly after was sick with what little she had eaten.
Today she's eaten a bit, had slice of toast, a few crackers and managed some chicken soup for lunch and dinner. But still getting bad nausea. Not actually been sick. Stayed in bed.
Mainly just really strong stomach pain which is probably mostly hunger. But she's also still getting waves of nausea and complaining of back pain.
She's not had a temperature though so I don't think it's a virus.
She's obviously just worrying about baby especially with the stomach pain.
Hopefully fact she's eaten more today + another nights sleep will see her feeling much better in the morning.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
