7 weeks today and just had my first actual MORNING sickness! I have been feeling very nauseous and being sick a bit in the evenings but this morning I was just walking into the kitchen about to get my breakfast and suddenly started retching out of nowhere and only just made it to the toilet. Felt fine again straight afterwards and have just had some dry toast, which seems to be staying down (touch wood). This is going to be such a sexy valentine's day for my poor husband...lol!0

I read ginger can help with the nausea? Like a ginger biscuit as long as it's got real ginger in it x0

Tried it and ginger tea but no good for me - just gave me heartburn. Thanks though! X0 -
Tcd - I used a hair bobble when I was about 8/10 weeks. I couldn't buy next size up as my legs/bum are non-existent. I know bump bands work for some people in the early stages too? Just a few ideas xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

I'm now 8+4 and i daren't put my normal button jeans on as anything tight on my stomach makes the nausea/ (tmi) diaorrhea worse and tbh i'm not sure they'd fit anyway. I don't want to buy mat clothes this early, partly for superstition and mainly because I have to change in communal areas everyday in work and if I'm wearing mat pants it'd be quickly noticed- i want to get as far along as possible with the bare minimum of people knowing! I think it's from years of infertility- just don't want to rub it in anyones faces! Sounds stupid but there's at least one woman I work with who is having a ttc nightmare and I don't want to upset her as she's lovely.
I'm not really a dress sort of girl and my job is definitely more of a trouser environment with constant bending and lifting etc. I don't know what to do! I just can't stand having any pressure on my belly at the moment. Any ideas ladies?
I am 9+4 and have not expanded yet but I do get very bloated in the evening after my dinner. Luckily I am always home these days so I just unbutton my trousers and let it pop out!
These seem like a good idea for the early stages

I struggled with my clothes from week 8, and it didnt really get any better, a draw string is a life saver, but I wear tracksuit bottoms to work, so its cheating really, but on smarter days I have a size up pair of trousers, theyve lasted really well im 17 weeks now. And I keep finding maternity clothes on ebay and in charity shops...
as your your mat exemption card I got mine a few weeks after my booking in appointment, but your bleeding gums are a common pregnancy symptom, I got it terribly. Brushing teeth after each meal and using corsodyl mouth wash, which u can buy the non named version from wilkos n home bargains and various other places for about £2.50... (same active ingredient but half the price of the glaxo smith kline version) sorted me right out untill I got to see the dentist n he gave me teeth a good clean for free!0 -
Hello all
I found out last week that I am pregnant after 2 1/2 yrs of trying. It's hard to know how far along I am since my cycle was so long and unpredictable but we think I'm 6 weeks today. I've had light, mainly brown spotting on and off throughout and it seems to have returned today. I went for a scan at 5+3 and saw the sac is in the right place but am not due for another scan til the 24th. I am wishing the hours away as I am desperate to know everything is alright!!
