Good luck telling your mum too lilmissmup and your boss too. I bet most peoples mothers would be pleased and telling hem would be exciting. It's sad when that isn't the case, isn't it?
Maybe I'm being unfair and my mum won't react as badly as I'm expecting. At least I know my dad will be excited.0 -
waaaah I don't want to go back to work tomorrow
I want to carry on being lazy and self indulgent.
I sincerely hope I don't throw up on any clients! I think I've managed to get it under control and its mainly in the evening or when I'm tired so I guess we'll have to see.
Good luck to those telling work tomorrow, I told my boss straight away as I was worried I'd need his support if I mc again. Also once work know you are more protected and can take time off for morning sickness etc without it affecting your attendance and also for appointments etc.
I hope your mums take the news in a positive way wangdoodle and lilmissup x
Hugs to all x0 -
Ladies,
Can I have a bit of a panic with you? I'm currently 9+4 and have had a couple of scans showing a lovely little heartbeat.
However, this weekend almost all my symptoms (MS, bloating, sore boobs) have pretty much disappeared, and today I feel really AF'y.
I keep trying to convince myself that all could be ok, and that the placenta may be taking over, and the period pains are stretching, but I had a MC this time last year at 10+1 and I've got myself so wound up :-(
Oh, and when I did my pessary yesterday (IVF cycle), I swear my cervix was open. I've been too scared to check since...0 -
Big hugs Derby I hope everything is ok. My symptoms went on hiatus round about the same time, just before 10 weeks. I spent a few days panicking, every little cramp and twinge had me running to the loo to check. My symptoms came back after a few days but not as strong as before. I'm crossing my fingers that it's nothing to worry about, for both of us x0

Derby2 I have no real comfort to offer but didn't want to read and run. I have everything crossed for you that all is well. Can you ring the ivf unit for a reassurance scan? Or the epau. Hugs try and stay positive xxxxxHappy Wife and Mother :-) DD is 7 bump is due in July and DH is 40.0

Derby - please get in touch with your MW or get to the local hospital for a scan....it's the only way to get the reassurance you need.
Wishing you lots of luck - stay strong.

Hey Derby,
Just popping in from the other thread just to let you know that a lot of women's symptoms do disappear around the 9/10 week mark. Its because you only have a couple of weeks left of the first trimester. Mine did that (now 22 weeks). I was worried for a little while then realised I could enjoy my food again without the fear of being sick!! If it is something you are worrying about dont hesitate to contact your midwife. Far better to do that then sit there worrying until your 12 week scan. Hope you feel better soon xxx0 -
Just delurking to say my symptoms went almost completely awol at 9 weeks Derby with just a little nausea until 11am. I was worried too as mc'd at 7 weeks with my last pregnancy. But everything was okay at the 12 week scan. Weirdly the vomiting came back at around 11 weeks and is still here (but pretty mild) at almost 16 weeks. I had AF type pains throughout. Don't panic yet (easier said than done I know - I am still knicker checking). Hugs xx:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Derby - also delurking to say i remember posting the exact same query at around 9 or 10 weeks on this thread. I had a few days of feeling great sickness and tiredness wise but had tummy cramps. A few days later the symptoms came back just as strong if not stronger and all was well at the 12 week scan. I am now nearly 20 weeks.
Please please contact your midwife if you are worried - they always like to see someone and reassure them than have you sit at home worrying.
*hugs*0
