Mouse the standard of care seems to vary so much by area, department, even down to people! I'm pleased you managed to get to the bottom of things and it's another thing off your list and into the diary. How are you feeling?

Freddie it's always lovely when you pop into a thread - I've been lurking on the Preg Club thread and following your progress! Sounds like you've been keeping very busy x

So I'm 5+6 and still here! Still lacking in symptoms though... Had a docs appointment last week because when I was diagnosed hypothyroid they told me I should report a pregnancy asap - but as I'd had bloods pretty recently they won't actually do any more til my booking in anyway.

Doc told me to ask reception for a midwife referral...but I couldn't do it. Have decided I'll ring them end of this week assuming all is ok. By docs dates I would be nearly 7 weeks not 6 so hoping that might mean I get booking in fairly early by my actual timings. We shall see! Considering early scan for 8 weeks ish too.

Thanks Freddie, big and Mancmama. I've finally received the official booking for my scan through the post. It's postmarked the 15th July (the day I called to find out when it was). I'm not 100% convinced that she didn't just book me in whilst I was on the phone now, which has made me even more cross about how I was dealt with. Still, I suppose at least I now have a date, even if it wasn't the best experience in getting one.

I've been feeling really unwell lately with lots of headaches and sickness, and the exhaustion has finally kicked in too. I seem to be getting problems with congestion which are affecting the tubes behind my right ear and down the back of my neck, which is really painful. If it continues, I may try to see the GP, though I suspect they'll say there's nothing that can be done about it, and just rest, keep up the fluids and take paracetamol etc. Just one more week of work until the summer holidays, so at least then I don't have to worry about getting up early in the morning and I can sleep during the day (toddler allowing).

    How's everyone else doing?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Phew, it's hot! Quite glad I'm not in the 3rd tri right now, but suffering enough with feeling tired and bloated.

My nausea has calmed down a bit and I'm managing to eat fruit and salad this week rather than constant carbs. Craving orange juice ice lollies, so might see if I can find a cheap mould to make my own (the supermarket only had del Monte ones that are 3 for £2 - they're hitting the spot but a bit expensive). Last pregnancy I couldn't handle fruit juice, it was far too acidic. It's funny how different I feel this time.

    Hope everyone is doing OK.

Still no scan appointment letter. Im going to be stalking the postman at this rate!

Had a call from GP surgery earlier to tell me I've got a urine infection, oh joy. Need to go and pick up a prescription for antibiotics.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the uti big. Is it worth checking with your hospital antenatal clinic to check they've received the request for one?

Hey ladies just a quick post because I'm having a bit of a panic and need to get it off my chest! Have had nausea every morning this week, plus crazy hunger, then this morning no nausea and not as hungry!! I did sleep for longer with it being Saturday and then managed a big breakfast but I'm so worried this is a bad sign.

And Googling was no help as usual When will I learn?!

Don't panic Cats, symptoms can come and go. I've had a day or two of feeling relatively normal, only for nausea and aching boobs to return today. Hope you can enjoy your nausea free day!

Got excited earlier when an NHS letter arrived, but it was my maternity exemption card (still useful as I've got a dentist appointment in a few days). If the scan letter doesn't come on Monday I think I'll call my midwife.

I was the same with the symptoms coming and going cats. I think I may even have talked about being worried on here too. Even now (I'm nearly 11 weeks), my symptoms fluctuate. I've had a lot more headaches this time than I have in previous pregnancies and loads of congestion. I was talking to my midwife at my booking in appointment and she said that every pregnancy even in the same mother is different. I guess this is why Dr Google isn't that comforting as ladies will all experience different pregnancy symptoms. I understand your panic though, as I spent ages googling too. Have you decided to book an early scan at all? This may reassure you temporarily. Sending you huge hugs.

Big thank you for reminding me that I need to get my card sorted out too. I've also got a dental appointment coming up and I had forgotten my midwife said I need to pick up the form from the gp.

    :hello::hello:

Hi everyone! I just wondered if it would be OK if I joined?

I just got my BFP on Thursday after trying for 10 months! Found out at the end of June that I have PCOS which had been causing irregular cycles and only had 4 cycles in that time.

I was getting ready to start Clomid if I had AF/BFN this weekend but caved and tested on Thursday and got my BFP :)

We have a bit of confusion about conception date as CB digital showing 2-3 weeks but I had thought I had only OV'd 2 weeks ago but acupuncturist thinks I OV'd before that!!!

Both dates seem to tie in but just happy I'm pregnant!

    Hope your all well xxx
