111 told me to go to the Gynae ward at the hospital. However I took another pregnancy test and it was negative so I've not bothered. Back to the TTC thread for me, plus pizza and prosseco tonight I think.

  • (((kynthia))) May still be worth being seen just in case of any issues, but your choice. There is a helpful, supportive miscarriage thread on MSE if you ever need to talk xx

kynthia.. you really should get seen, if you choose not to go now then speak to your Gp.. I had a m/c 7 years ago and spent 4 months bleeding because the sac was still inside and not being expelled.. I had negative tests and just constant bleeding. I ended up needing surgery and had risked massive infection .. so please, do get checked.

If I think things aren't fine during the week then I'll get checked. However I know that hospitals don't see you with a negative test and no pain even if you're further along than my tiny 5 weeks. Years ago I wouldn't even known as I was pregnant as without a home pregnancy test I would have just thought AF was a week late. I'll update my GP on Monday, as I'd already visited them last week to get the midwife referral, and see what they say

    Hey, how is everyone?

I've been feeling a bit sick but it doesn't come to anything more. Was worrying a bit as I do keep getting a bit of a dull ache in my right side, but it's uncomfortable more than painful. I'm going to see how it goes tomorrow, I did ring the gp today, just to find out what I could/ should do and the receptionist said that pain there is quite normal but if I'm worrying to pop in and see the duty gp, just knowing where I need to go if I'm worrying has helped reassure me.

    ThinkPink: Hope you're feeling better

I've had to dig out my seabands again as I've been feeling really nausea recently although like you it doesn't come to anything. Not had morning sickness at all really so hope it doesn't materialise now!! I get aches on/off in both my right and left side MW said its just because everything is beginning to stretch so try not to worry.

    easier said isn't it sometimes.

Scan on Friday - can't wait.

    Hi ladies

After a lot of stressing and annoyance with the NHS I've booked a private NT scan. They did my blood today and scanned me very briefly again to find bub on its head! I think we might have a gymnast on our hands :rotfl: my full scan is next Saturday and I can't wait.

Good luck for Friday rin :j

Hope your scan goes ok tomorrow rinroo. Hope the sickness eases soon.

Oh that's good you got to see baby again jtr, how annoying that you haven't had much luck with the mgs though.

The pains have eased over the last day or so and I have only had it a couple of times. I wonder if it's because of the way I was sitting, I definitely notice it more when I'm driving or sat in chair that I'm not used too (my work chair is adjustable so I can get comfy whereas Monday I was at uni on a non adjustable chair and I had the pain for most the day on and off.

Have been getting horrid headaches though, has anyone else been suffering with headaches?
  • Hi all,

Good luck for your scan today Rinroo - how exciting!

I phoned GP surgery this week for a booking in appt but midwife on leave this week so they said they'll get her to call me next week.
I've been feeling absolutely fine and if I hadn't got a BFP I wouldn't even think I was pg! That sounds good but is a little worrying too as I hope everything's ok.
