  • And another update....seen the GP this morning as my blood pressure needed checking - all ok. Showed her the rash and told her about generally feeling rubbish, shaking, itching, etc.

Have been given a form to go for a blood test at the hospital later today.

But she said to mention the rash and itching to the rheumatologist when i see him tomorrow. So far, every doctor has told me to mention it to the next doctor - tomorrow's is the last so hopefully something can be done about it.

And nausea has kicked in - never had it before but oh my goodness, pretty much all day on and off (more on than off though). Am grazing on dry crackers to try to keep it at bay.

Hi tatabubbly, welcome to the thread x

  • I've just caught up. Congrats Gelly you brought tears to my eyes, so pleased for you.

I finally got my second bloods back and my HCG level was 901 on Friday which, the doctor and I both agree, means 6 weeks ish. He told me to call back and book in with the midwife. The receptionist was a bit standoffish. She said they can't book me until 8 weeks to which I replied I would call back nearer the time. She then said no I'm booking you in now but it's not until the 9th. Not sure why she even mentioned the 8 week thing, she could have just booked me straight in and I wouldn't have known anything different.

She also said I had to call in the surgery and collect a pregnancy leaflet or the midwife won't see me unless I've read it. I asked if she could email it and was told no they don't have that facility. Which made me laugh. Not sure what this leaflet is though, does anybody else's surgery do that?

I think my EDD is about 19.07.16 but will have to see what my scan says as we weren't TTC so wasn't keeping track of my dates.

Athensgeorgia - My GP surgery asked me to swing buy to pick up a leaflet. I went and it was actually a little pack full of different leaflets, an Emma's Diary book etc and a tub to pee in and bring with me on the morning of my booking in appointment.

Gelly - I hope you get some answers soon about the rash!

As for me, nausea has mostly worn off now thank God. Still have the odd day where I feel rough but otherwise much better. 10 weeks exactly today! :)

I had to collect a leaflet about all the different tests/scans you get so that I could decide at booking in what I wanted. I also picked up my maternity book thingy and was allowed to complete myself which meant my booking in took about 10 minutes!

11+ 5 here. Most symptoms seem to be easing off now except tiredness.
  • Yes I got the Emma's Diary thing and a form to complete for booking in which made it really quick and easy.

Good to hear hcg levels were up Athens, well on your way now!

Gelly hope they get to the bottom of the rash.

Toots how are you feeling? Not long to your scan so excited for you.

I don't feel too bad today either Euro, maybe we are getting past the mega nausea bit!!!! Hope so x

I am okay but so nervous that something has gone wrong. I know seeing the heartbeat at 7weeks was pretty positive but I am naturally negative person.

Scan is 10am on Friday so at least I don't have all day to wait.
  • I am the same Toots, I keep getting really negative thoughts and am more nervous for the scan then excited.

My sickness stopped for a couple of days but today is back with a vengeance plus I have had a really bad watery mouth today which is a new one for me. 11 weeks tomorrow.. where is the time going??
