  • Hi ladies, great news to hear about your appts. Wishing you lots of love and luck.

The brown spotting has vanished since Saturday but it lasted 8 days so I am still incredibly worried but not much I can do.

I've got an appt with my miscarriage consultant tomorrow morning at 8.30am where we hope I'll get another scan and might see something as I could only see the pregnancy sac and yolk sac last Weds. Then on Weds morning I have to see the GP for a blood pressure check and at lunchtime, I have to see the midwife for a booking in appt. Then on Thursday, I have a follow up appt with the rheumatologist as it's been a month since I was diagnosed with APS and he wants to see how I'm getting on with the medication.

Quick question for you ladies - today I've got the shakes, feel dizzy and very itchy plus I've got a rash. Anybody else had similar?

De lurking - hope nobody minds. Gelly, I think you should at least ring the GP and get some advice about your symptoms; you may require antihistamines or something, and as you are pregnant someone should be willing to advise, whether it's a midwife, practice nurse or doctor xx

Yeah, it is a bit! :D I will be exactly 12 weeks on that day as well, which I'm pleased about! Perfect timing, and won't have to wait any longer than absolutely necessary to share my news! (provided all is well of course) :D

Yay for your booking in appointment! Hope it goes well! :)

I had another letter arrive on Saturday confirming that my blood results show I am Rhesus D negative (which I already knew), and stating that they offer another blood test at around 16 weeks in my area to see if baby is positive or negative, which is good. If it shows that baby is negative, I won't need the anti d injection at 28 weeks. Apparently, it's been a trial thing they've been doing in this area since May 2013, so am feeling pretty lucky to be in this area right now.

Had a good weekend, without feeling too nauseous and got quite a bit done at home, including a financial review/overhaul, and put some things in place to save us some money etc, and it seems we are over £200 in credit with the water company!! So have asked for that back! lol Also ordered a big food shop and with vouchers etc, managed to save £23.30! Woohoo! AND...I was talking today about needing to get a new slow cooker (ours got broken when we moved) and a colleague said she was given one as a birthday present a few years back, which she has never used or taken out of the box, so she has offered it to us for free! Bargain! :D

I hope everyone else is doing well and had a good weekend! :) xx

I agree. I haven't had those symptoms for pregnancy. I've had the odd bit of dizziness, but that's it.

What you are describing sounds more like an allergic reaction. I had similar symptoms with an antibiotic that a dentist prescribed once. Turns out I am allergic to it and had to come off it right away, so I think it's best to get it checked out by the doctor Gelly xx

Thanks msb & euronorris - was trying to avoid yet another medical appt this week but have just been to the ladies toilets at work and can see the rash is spreading up my neck and onto my cheeks so have called them and hopefully the GP (who knows my history) will call me later.

At the end of the day, I'm seeing so many Doctors this week, first appt tomorrow morning, that I'm sure I can wait a day or two!

Thank you for caring though, appreciate it

Also delurking (I'm in Egypt again!).. no you can't wait .. if your immune system goes into full on 'let's attack everything' your baby is a 'foreign body'.. it is simply not worth the risk! It will only get worse! however, it could also be nothing at all!

It sounds like a reaction to me too.. probably one of your rattly meds.. get it checked today if possible and if you of all people cannot have an appointment when you need one then who can!

  • Hi ladies, am brave enough to join you now.
I have just had my 3rd round of ICSI and got to my OTD ON 13/11/15 and got a BFP!!!
Still not sunk in yet and feels serial for both as does the treatments each time
    I had 2x3dt embryos transferred.
    I am 6 weeks today.
Due to being a BFP via treatment I have a scan booked on 4/12/15 by which time I will be 7w4d.
