Hey all,
I'm a newbie to this thread, we found out about 2 weeks ago (whilst on Honeymoon) that we are pregnant with our first :j after working it out the baby should be due on 16/06/16 (which is quite concerning if you take out the ones and 0 :rotfl: )
Which means I am now 6+4 if my calculations are right. We returned home from America yesterday so we have just told our parents and siblings and that's it, it is already killing me to keep my mouth shut!! The sickness started the second we landed at Manchester Airport so at least Bean waited until then :T
I called the doctor today and managed to get an appointment this Thursday, what do they do at this appointment? I am getting a little obsessed googling every symptom I have which I know isn't ideal. I have slight cramps to the left in my lower abdomen which on googling this told me it could be something I didn't want to hear, so it has freaked me out a little. I have read that plenty of women have had this during their pregnancies and it was just their bodies changing so I am tying to remain positive... after all this should be an exciting time. Hence me joining this thread, it's going to be some journey!!!Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

I graduated this thread 6 weeks ago but couldn't resist. If it's a boy you could call it damien? Congratulations!! Don't panic too much about the cramps, I still get them at 20 weeks, had them at the start too and all is fine. I actually thought it was AF but midwife said it's normal. I know one side can mean etopic but hopefully it's nothing. Good luck on your journey :-)
I'll sneak off back to 12-20 weeks...0 -
Thanks for dropping by sweetilemon, that's what I read about the cramps on one side so as you can imagine it freaked me out, they arn't constant, or even bad cramps more a twinge and just now and again. I will let the dr know when I see them though.
As for Damien... that was my thoughts exactly!!! hahaMarried 1st October 2015:heartpuls

My doctor litrally just took my blood pressure and transfered me to the midwife and then it's the midwife thereafter. Not everyone gets cramps but it's generally your uterus expanding. If the midwife is concerned she might send you for an early scan. She told me unless it was sharp pains or bleeding not to worry.0 -
Thanks for that, I have just been looking up private early scans and I have found one nearby for £99 so if the midwife doesn't refer me I will still get it done (I am an anxious person anyway so this can only help me either way)Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

It's up to you but I know I feel comforted at the time of a scan and maybe the next day then worry until the next scan! So it does help with the temporary worry but still doesn't help overall. It is a long hard wait until the first scan but £99 can buy a few baby things0 -
Hi everyone!
Sorry I have been v.quiet again. 8+3 today! Had a terrible weekend of feeling really poorly and not Being able to keep anything down. Phoned epu yesterday as was getting worried i was starting with the severe sickness i had last time and lost 2 stone! Anyway they told me to go to Gp with urine sample and turns out I have a UTI, so got antibiotics and cyclizine. Wasn't sick yesterday after taking cyclizine but had horrendous diarreah! Really hoping I can keep something down/up today.
I am lucky in regards to private scans, we have somewhere about 30 mins drive away that does them for £40 on a weekday, £50 at weekends! Going to book one for next week which will be around the time the baby died last time.
Congratulations and welcome to all the newbies!
Thinking of you kellykins, look after eachother

Hi all
Sorry, I was shattered last night, so just focused on dinner, pyjamas, latest walking dead episode and then sleep! lol
Had a nightmare that I was miscarrying though. Was so relieved when I woke up and realised it wasn't true. Twice in the last week I've had that nightmare though. Trying to relax, but it's so difficult!
