• Best of luck Toots, I'm sure everything will be great, keen to hear how you go I'd quite like an earlier scan myself if possible and not too expensive. Sunshine did you book your early scan through GP or private?

Sorry for daft questions, as I've never been pregnant before I have no idea what to expect.

  • Everything crossed for you for tonight Toots! I'm sure everything will be great but completely understand your anxiety. I'm exactly the same, expect the worst, prepare for the best is my motto in life. Let us know how you get on.

My scan is a private one Mancmama, NHS won't do one until 12 weeks unless there is a problem or a history of gynae problems/miscarriage etc. I just think I'll drive myself mental if I have to wait another 7 weeks! I think the cost varies depending on where you are based, I'm in Hampshire and ours is costing £65. x

    Welcome Mancmama and congratulations! :)

5+5 here and feeling pretty !!!!py today! Quite nauseous and super tired. On a plus note, I couldn't resist cracking open my other clearblue digi inception indicator test this morning, just to make sure it showed 'Pregnant 3+', and it did! :D Silly, I know, but made me feel better to know the HCG is progressing at about the right levels :)

Would really like to go back to bed now! *YAWN*

  • Sorry you're feeling rubbish Euronorris but good news about the digi! I have one left in my draw that I was thinking of doing it at about 6 weeks (all being well) but I'm slightly concerned I might just make myself more anxious! Dealing with the anxiety has been a bigger challenge that the physical side of things thus far. Feeling the tiredness today, would love a nap! x

    Thanks Sunshine :)

I was concerned about doing the digi again, and managed to hold off until today (I wanted, so badly, to do it over the weekend! lol). I hear some people don't get the 3+ until they are 6 weeks gone, but I figured I'd just go for it and see what happened.

I've decided that food fixes everything. I really didn't want this soup to begin with, and now I'm really enjoying it and feeling quite a bit better for it! :D

Thank you euro, lovely to see some familiar names on here and great to hear you are all a ball of nerves like I am!

The GP can't fit me in until next Friday, so I'll be 5+6 when I finally get seen... I guess there's nothing I can do until then... its like the 2ww again! I took 5 tests over the weekend to make double, double sure...it was so odd not to POAS this morning for the first time in a while.

Thanks for the info on private scans sunshine, I'll def keep that in mind, 8 weeks of waiting sounds impossible at the moment x

Yeah, the 2WW is excruciating, but then it's followed up by an 8WW!! lol

I don't even get to see the GP. Called up and they just made a booking in apt for me with the midwife, which isn't until 17th November! That's still another 3 weeks and a day away!!! OMG! lol

Gosh really - I'll count myself lucky then, although they probably only want to see me because I'm new to the surgery. Hopefully after that though I'll get my booking in apt sorted soon after and things will feel like they're moving.

Having the weirdest week ever already!

Rampant Recycler I've been Money Tipped!
12 weeks today - eek! I have my scan tomorrow so I'm incredibly nervous. I keep thinking I'm going to get there and there's no baby and I made the whole thing up!
