Pinkshoes I actually let out a squeal when I read that! My husband thinks I'm nuts caring so much about people on the internet. That is fantastic news. It's made my day so I can only imagine what it has done to yours! Congratulations! How far along are you? See you on the next thread.

...goes back to the black hole that is the 12 -24 week thread...

I think I am still in shock and it hasn't registered yet!! I am 11+2, so only 2 days off the estimate. Oddly, the scan lady saw on my notes that an early scan had been requested so she was surprised given my history of MMCs that I didn't get it.

Wow congratulations PinkShoes! What a lovely surprise :)
The prospect of twins worries me a lot, I don't know how we'd manage 3 lots of childcare!

I cannot believe that just the other day I spent ages calculating how much I would need to save to take the full yea maternity. At least DS will be starting school, so cheaper than nursery.

I'm exhausted today. DH is away and DD woke up at 5am with a raging temperature. She perked up after some calpol so I took her to nursery but had to collect her before lunch as her temp was still up and not coming down with calpol. We both fell asleep on the sofa watching a film, but she's now all perky and running riot and I could do with a bit more nap!

Nausea seems to have subsided for now at least :)

Sick toddlers can be so cute when they want to cuddle up, but a nightmare when the calpol kicks in. DS's nursery will administer calpol whilst I am en route to pick him up, but by the time I get there, he is running round like a loon.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Hi, Newbie here, finally braved joining after just sneaking and reading for the last week or so! Have been in the ttc but just not happening (12m+) thread for too long, so really happy to finally be on this one :-) Have been under the fertility clinic, had appointment for next month to probably start Clomid, so not sure why we have managed to catch now (obviously not moaning!)

Had a bit of bleeding and a bit of a panic on Thursday, but paid for an early scan yesterday and saw our little pudding, disco heartbeat and everything. EDD 22/2/16, booking in appointment 29/07/15, everything suddenly seems quite real...can't quite believe it after all these years....!

Congrats tamvilla! That is amazing that you managed to catch before starting treatment.

Im 11 weeks tomorrow, still have nausea in mornings and still exhausted! I dont remember being so tired with my ds but think with working, running after him And the never ending house tidying its no wonder.

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.x

Thanks. Didn't really believe it until we saw it in there!
I've really never known tiredness like it, can hardly do anything I'm that tired. Either feel sick or starving hungry, never felt so weird?!

Yep it so strange! If I dont eat I feel sick although im constantly grazing on junk which makes me feel terrible but I have to force myself to eat fruit as I have gone off it and normally I love my fruit and veg! Its hard to cover up the tiredness at work too with all the yawning I do!

  • Hi everyone.
Got my BFP the weekend, still in shock after 10 months of trying.
This will be my first and i don't really know what i should be doing, do i just call the drs and tell them???:o

  • HI tamvilla and me-charlotte! welcome to the board :)

We have had some news, landlord is selling our house next year…plans to go on the market around March…my due date! So not ideal but nothing we can do about it. Getting ourselves on all the property listing pages and starting to look now as I don’t want to be forced into taking something because we waited too long

I've got a history of twins in my family too (maternal and paternal) and even though I told them this at my booking in, they didn't schedule me for an early scan :( in fact, I had my booking in 2 weeks ago and I still don't know when my scan is!

Had a terrible weekend with OH; I was staying at his place and we argued about getting a dog (amongst other things) and he was being completely unreasonable about it even though I am willing to compromise (he wants a dog, I don't).....anyway, when I packed my bags he begged me to stay. My decreased dose anti-depressants not helping the situation and I cried for the rest of Saturday.

    Sigh.

Congrats Tam!! I'm exactly the same, have 3 modes: exhausted, about to puke from hunger or small "feel ok" window. (I'm 9+1)

    Apparently it gets better?!
