Good luck Gelly! I just see you were pregnant with triplets before. Flip bet that was a massive shock. When do you meet with the consultant this time?

Can I join please I've been lurking for a couple of weeks but didn't want to join before as I had a MC last year and had some brown/pink spotting. Had a early scan last Friday when I was 4 + 6 which couldn't see much apart from the sack but no reason for spotting. Just been for a 2nd scan today and saw the heartbeat and they have put me at 6 weeks which matches my dates They see no problems so starting to get excited I am still very nervous as I MC at 10 weeks last year but trying to relax as much as possible.

I'm full of cold so feeling sorry for myself. Done really have many symptoms now, apart from sore Boobs, but I always seem to feel awful at the weekend so we shall see how I am tomorrow.

How are you all feeling?

Had a night out with the girls, went for being on antibiotics- if I had said I had a heavy night the night before they would have sneaked a vodka in my drink (although I do think one drink may have had a vodka in it, so I didn't drink it). I was asked a few questions like 'what antibiotics are you on?, and can you really not drink on them' and also asking if I wanted to go out next Saturday, but they didn't openly ask so if they did suspect they weren't sure enough to ask!!

I so wish my scan was this week, but I know it's better if I wait as my dates may be a bit out.

Hello, not much going on over here. Reflux is still really bad after I eat anything. Have been doing ok on the fruit flavoured indigestion tablets but thought I would try gaviscon liquid. It is rank! Not sure it did that much either. Holding off on the ranitidine until I really need as I know this is only going to get worse.
Not been sick but do have the odd moment where I feel like I might.

To be honest I'm still in disbelief.

Trying to organise my early scan but can't get the website to complete the booking.

So far I have told one friend, had one guess and told my grandma. Telling my mum and brother at Xmas as will need help in the cover up. Don't want my other siblings to know until 12 weeks as they are all big blabber mouths.

It's been a bit quiet on here, where has everyone gone?

Hi everyone - can I join? I goy my BFP on Friday (Rebekah called it!) but it's taken a few days, and many many tests later :rotfl: that it's sank in. I think the next step is to call the doctors tomorrow?

Congratulation and welcome.
Most doctors don't need to see you to confirm the pregnancy as the tests are very good these days. When I rang my surgery they booked me straight in for a midwife appt at 8 weeks.

Thanks PM, I'll speak to the receptionist then, that's actually better as trying to get a docs app at my practice is nigh on impossible

.....an appointment at 8 weeks....is that what happens next? What to do until then?! Thank goodness Christmas is almost here!

Though I don't know when it will sink in - we keep going back to check the test to confirm there's two lines, as if it's going to change its mind:rotfl:

I just had to go to the surgery to complete some forms, then had my booking in appointment, which in my area is at about 10 weeks! It's such a long wait!!
