  • I've edited the list for you krustylouise :) Good luck with the 2nd tri!

Yeah it's been pretty exhausting and I've only had it bad for the last 4 days. Managed to not have to run to the loo in work yet though, so I'm doing better than yesterday!

Claire - sorry to hear about your sickness, I hope work are being understanding.
Getting really sick is something I'm a bit scared of. I used to be a gynae doctor and looked after some very sick pregnant ladies which has slightly skewed my view!
Currently I'm just getting bad reflux. I've suffered with it in the last but this is a whole new level. By the time I get to bed I'm burping all the time, especially when I change position. It's pretty gross - poor hubby having to put up with the noises and my moaning.

Exciting to get your scan date ThinkPink. Will be nice to have one before Xmas. I think we're going to have a private one at 8 weeks which is just into the new year. Only £36 where I am.

Oh yea the wind is horrific. I have myself the sickness back. Came back yesterday but I am never actually sick. I get to the point where I think I am about to retch and its really intense but doesnt do anything. I had week 7 free. I have turned 8 weeks today so looks like it's back along with horrific exhaustion. I can't do anything. That really has stepped up a gear! Spent most of the day on the sofa thankfully little lady was at nursery this morning so I had some reprieve.

I wish private scans were that cheap here, I have already had one, had it at 9 weeks but it was £65, and that was the cheapest I could find, most places were about £100. If they were that cheap I would have another one this week as 24th seems forever away!

Hope you are feeling less burpy soon!

That's the cheapest round here by a long way. It's a family run buisness and they all work as so ographers in the local hospital so has a good reputation. The 3.5 weeks till then are going to drag!

I defrosted curry for dinner. Going to regret that later.

Yes I had one at 9 weeks, which I waited about 3 weeks for, it seemed the longest 3 weeks ever!!! I will have 2 weeks tomorrow till my scan, it does makes sense for it to be then as it will mean that if the dates going by my private scan I will still be far enough into my pregnancy to have the nuchal tests etc, but I just don't have much patience!!

    Hi everyone,
Just wanted to come back with a little update as I had a couple of very lovely supportive messages when I posted here about an unplanned/shock positive test a couple of weeks ago.
We were very much still trying to figure out what the right decision for us was, however nature intervened and took it out of our hands and I had a MC earlier this week.
Hopefully I will back here in the future when we have our own place with a very much planned LO on the way.
    Thank you x

    Hi All,

Me again!! Random Q - Has anyone else's belly started itching already? I didn't expect it to happen so soon, I thought it would be a while! Resisting the urge to scratch but it's hard!

Also suffering with terrible nausea and migraines but at least I'm not alone with these symptoms!
  • Nisha- in itchy belly here- is it quite common? I really hope it's something I don't get as I'm terrible and will scratch until it's red and sore if I have an itch. I'm not quite at the migraine stage but I am suffering with terrible headaches.

Someone at work has cottoned on, I did think if anyone were to guess it would be this person so wasn't surprised when my boss told me she had guessed, I did have a quiet word with her though and she has promised to keep quiet.

I've got a right belly on me today, luckily I wear skater style dresses so should be able to keep it hidden for a few more weeks!

    How are you all today?

Djs- i wish you all the luck for the future, take care and look after yourself.x
