How are you feeling Rebekah? It's funny isn't it, we hate all the symptoms and wish they would go, but as soon as they go we then panic!!!!

Hope your sickness is ok dingdongavoncalling. Glad the scan went well.

According to the original dates (the one the hospital is going by) I'm 11 weeks today, so I'm going to chase for my scan date tomorrow as technically it should be soon, and I'm getting inpatient!!! I'm still suffering with horrid headaches, I've hardly had any sickness but seem to have a constant headache. I told my nan yesterday, she burst into tears, she is so excited!!!

Oh and i have just realised the post i wrote the other to snapping obviously didn't post, so snapping, if you do read this i am so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are able to get your bfp soon and be back here. Most importantly though, look after yourself. Hugs.xxx

Sickness is barely there. I feel a bit upsettled this morning prob coz I had a lie in til 10am ... my first in 3 years!! without eating so that would be why. Feeling tierd but over all compared to pregnancy 1 this is a weird welcome change!

I tentatively posting here, as I got my BFP yesterday I did another one this morning, just to check, and it said the same it feels so strange!

Got a bit of a funny tummy today, which is the only indication of anything different. I'm going to ring the doctors tomorrow to make an appointment

Congratulations and welcome slowlyfading. Regarding symptoms I didn't have much for the first week or two after my bfp, and I've not had sickness but I have been so tired and feel like I have a constant headache which is,making me light headed!!

Luckily I rang the hospital about my scan today, turns out they don't have any referral forms for me, and when they contacted the unit my midwife is based they couldn't find it either!! I need to ring back tomorrow to try and get it sorted, I'm really not impressed with their administration skills, this is the third time they've Sounded like they don't know.what they are doing!! And I'm getting myself stressed.about my dates- if I go amd I'm under the weeks they do the nuchal testing they will do another scan won't they? I've worked out ideally it should be.about 22nd Dec!! I'm also stressing at the fact work is busy, my calendar is getting full and then I need to fit this in aswell- the scan is my priority but I'm still getting stressed!! And I Have a college project to fit in and hand in next Thursday that I'm behind on as I always feel tired and Ill in the evenings and weekend!! Argh!!... And breath!!

Sorry about this little rant, I do feel a bit better now though!!:)

Had my booking in appt with the midwife on Friday and awaiting my 12 week scan date, which should be in the next 14 days or so!

Hi all - welcome to the newbies

Sickness has well and truly kicked in for me. Had to take yesterday off work due to hugging the toilet bowl all day Dragged my sorry self in to work today (after doing more toilet hugging) but dreading this afternoon as I had a mild reprieve yesterday until about 4 when I was worse than ever, & i don't finish work until 6.30 today.

Got my notes through the post yesterday with my booking in appointment, which has (in a shock bout of efficiency for the NHS) been booked for this Friday! Very excited to get my 'MOT' as the midwife last week put it. Anyone else looked at the yellow section of their notes (ie, birth)? Scared the bejeesus out of me!
