Update from me - 4w+4d. Absolutely moody cow haha, sorry I should say "feeling irritable". Also very tired (I always am!) Quite a bit of cramping and feeling a little light headed. Are these all normal? (Even the cramping)


How long do I have to wait to book in for a scan? x

dingdong, defiantly the cramping is normal, it worried me too this time round as I have no memory of having it with DD so I wouldn't worry if it comes and goes and isn't persistent / gets worse.

so, I had my scan this morning, they confirmed my due date of 17/05 which puts me at 13+4. Got some lovely clear pictures too.:D I guess this means it's time for me to graduate to the next thread. Hope to see you all there soon and that everything goes smoothly for you all. TTFN. Jane x

Definitely far more tired than usual. Starting to feel a little sicky. It's kinda like when you're so hungry you start feeling sick, but without the hunger beforehand. Weird. Really don't fancy anything but the thought of pizza at the moment. I think I shouldn't, but what Peaby wants, peaby gets


Edit - was good and had beans with bbq & tomato sauces, sausages and cheese on toast substitute for pizza. Requested hubby to bring home black olives and had those with chicken stir fry for dinner. Craving sated

Dingdong think it depends on where you live . In my area they fill out a form when you do your booking appointment with midwife and then i got a letter a few days later in post. I know some book it straight away. The cramping and light headedness is normal as long as its not too severe.

The Midwife phoned yesterday, they apparently had got confused as to who they rung and thought they had already rung me!! Said they usually do the booking in appointment at 10 weeks, but only had one appointment free all that week!! Luckily its on a day I'm usually at college so work won't have me booked in for anything at that time anyway!! I'm guessing though I won't get booked in for my scan until after that, which doesn't give me long between that appointment and when I hit 12 weeks, and then my 13 week is Christmas week so less appointments that week so now I'm worrying as to when it will be and just hoping it doesn't get booked in for a day I can't make due to short notice!!

Really wish my scan was this week, if it wasn't for the fact oh was working I would have booked it for tomorrow, I'll be on countdown for next Saturday all week though.

Hi joining you ladies (and any lurking gentlemen) if that's ok?
Going by my own dates I am 4+4 today. Getting lots of cramping this time round (#3) that I don't remember having at all with the other 2.
I already have a 8 year old DD and a just turned 4 DS.

I know its really early but if I don't tell my mum and sister about my pg as soon as I know they will not be very impressed. lol. We're very close so I suppose its natural that they want to go through every step with me. We're going to tell them on Sunday- its our turn to make Sunday dinner!!
