Wendz, all will be fine! I'm getting really impatient now though, I feel like I've known I'm pregnant forever, but because I haven't actually seen it, it still doesn't feel real yet.
Congratulations and welcome, Sarah!
Everything sounds normal dingdongavon, especially the cramping. Mine woke me up in the early hours the other night, it was very painful. Could also be stretching pains, they flipping' well hurt too. Sorry to hear you're so moody, my poor other half is suffering too so yours isn't alone, hehe. I didn't have to book in for my scan, I was just sent a letter through the post.
Ahh Jane, that's so lovely, congrats on graduating. Am I really top of the list now ?!?!? Eek!
Glad you enjoyed your food Fuzzy. I really want cheese on toast now, even for breakfast. And I really want pizza too. And beans...
ThinkPink, typical! Very frustrating knowing you could have been in before. They will certainly endeavour to get you in for your scan I would think. And if they book it at an inconvenient time, in my experience they do everything they can to accommodate you as quickly as possible if you want to change it. Fingers crossed for you!
And another new face, welcome to the club White! Your mum and sister sound like my aunties! Hope they don't cough on their yorkshire puds when you tell them tomorrow!
Update for me is that sickness appears to be more or less gone, but it will still come and go in waves at certain times of the day, more after I've eaten which is weird? I've had consultant appointment number 1 come through today, to see the gynae. Physio's not until January. Next midwife appointment is 15th Dec. We all had a lovely family nap on Thursday, never happens as I never sleep during the day but I must have really needed it as I dozed for just over 2 hours!
Hope everyone has a good Saturday! I'm off to play with DS before he goes back to sleep xxDS born 30.08.13 :happyhear

Hello everyone, Welcome to all the newbies
Hope everyones doing ok. Had my meeting with my midwife (second booking visit, as had to have on with midwife in gp surgery, then one with hospital, v.strange lol) which all went ok and hopefully will get a date for my 12 week scan soon - supposedly 11+1weeks today, so fingers crossed will have a date within the next week or two! Morning sickness has settled a bit, more nausea than vomiting, except when passenger in a car - couldn't even make a 10minute jounry this morning! hopefully will start to pass soon..... xxx

Think pink - good news you managed to get hold of midwife re booking. Just think you will see a lot more waiting a week for scan so will be worth it.
Hi and congratulations white! I would find it hard to keep from my mum too. I told her at 9 weeks which was long enough to wait .
Hippi - hope the sickness goes soon. Hope you don't have to wait too long till scan.0 -
Hello.
Welcome white as snow.
We still haven't told anyone- and I've coped really well and not really been that tempted, but I am seeing my sister tomorrow and we are so close that it will be so hard not to tell her. I've told oh that I won't directly tell her, but if she asks me if I am (as she knows we are trying), then I won't lie to her!! I think although he knows she will be the very person that I tell, he knows she will tell her oh, and he feels that our parents should know first- at least if I do tell her tomorrow it will only be a week of them knowing, then hopefully all will be well at the scan next Saturday and we can tell our Mums.
Yes, thats why I waited an extra week as hopefully we will see more, plus I tested at 4 weeks and got a bfn, it wasn't till 5 weeks I got my bfp, so I wanted to be sure that I didn't have it too early incase my dates do change slightly.
Glad to hear the sickness is getting better for a couple of you.x0 -

Congratulations Rebekah!
Saw there are a few BFPs on the ttc thread so might get busier here!0 -
I'm highly emotional - I dunno how to explain it. I almost regret being pregnant? I feel lonely and just seriously weird about the whole thing. I remember the not wanting to be pregnant with pregnancy one as I just hated the first trimester and found it so hard to get through after that was ok. I think I know how it all plans out and I just feel I dunno its hard to word it just depressed and sooo lonely I guess lol.0

Congrats on your BFP rebekah. Hope your feeling better soon.
I think hormones in early pregnancy have a lot to answer for!!. Not only are your hormones changing but you also have to suddenly get used to the fact life is changing, plus for me add in the worry that it won't all work out as it should.
I had a bit of melt down the other day, was so tired and snapping at oh, he obviously wasn't happy I was in a horrid mood which he got the brunt off, then two mins later I'm in floods of tears as I don't want to be moody!! Lol, I laugh now, but at the time it was horrible.
I've now told one person- well I tried to lie but she knows me too well!! She is so pleased for us. I'm glad she knows as I felt bad that I hadn't already told her. Hopefully we can tell our parents and maybe siblings at the weekend.0 -
Hormones are to blame for a lot! Last time round I was grumpy for weeks! This time round I'm making sure I'm getting lots of fruit and veg, and getting outside for daylight and exercise. I know from previous experience with depression that all that does help, so making sure I apply it here.
Queasiness has definitely kicked in. It's weird. It feels like when you feel sick because you're so hungry, but without the hungry part first. Discovered yesterday that if I don't eat, my brain really loses function! Literally said to OH "take me to some food" yesterday - went to Costco, had a shepherd's pie, of course though it helped, it wasn't what the craving wanted, so had a huge amount of roast chicken for dinner an hour later! It's been garlic stuffed olives this weekend - social outcast soon.
See now I've written that I want more garlic stuffed olives before bed! I've been a good girl, I've had a "before bed" snack, but noooo, now I'm feeling sick and want the bloomin olives. *rolls eyes*
Ooh - went to an aqua natal class - it was great, and just in case you ladies didn't know, they're a lot cheaper than normal swimming! £1.50-2 locally!0 -
Hello everybody :hello: Tentitively joining you from the TTC board as I got my first bfp last Thursday (and er, every day since), and have a 2-3 weeks on a digi today. The TTC board has gone a bit mental, so I think there will be even more ladies joining us shortly!
This is my first pregnancy (I'm 27, my OH is 31), so not really sure at all what to expect or what next! I'm ringing my doctors on my lunch but not sure whether to book in with a GP or just ask to be referred to the midwife they have? I know I'll need the flu jab, but that's about it!
No massive symptoms yet, although I'm feeling queasier today than previously. It's hard to describe, but what gave it away last week was just this 'odd' feeling. I sometimes feel like my head is floating independently to the rest of my body! Strange huh.
Anyway, just thought I'd pop my head in. It's lovely to join you all!
