Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

Well I was up half the night with terrible diarrhoea (sorry, tmi!) I mean really bad - crippling pains and pretty much the entire contents of my body evacuating in liquid form
I consulted dr google and apparently it is a really common early pregnancy symptom, although people do not discuss it as much as morning sickness! It was horrid though - I'd much rather throw up - so I hope it doesn't become a regular feature. I have decided to stay off work today...after only getting about 3 hours of very patchy sleep and spending the rest of the night in the bathroom, I'm so tired I feel dizzy if I stand up. I have said I have a stomach upset (technically true!) but in a few weeks I guess I will tell my boss about the pregnancy and then this absence won't have to go on my sickness record.
Daisie just to say I had really bad diarrhea for about 7 days, and then the ridiculous vomiting kicked in. The diarrhea was probably the least worst as I didnt feel ill and yours sounds worse than mine, but it was certainly inconvenient as I was at work etc!! There was an overlap of both for a couple of days which was pretty bad. But it didnt last too long at least so hopefully you wont have it for too longAnd hopefully you wont get sick.

I'm a lurker in this thread usually!! Just wanted to say that for the first 8 days of finding out I was pregnant I had bad diarrohea every morning. Once that subsided i had nausea/vomiting randomly throughout the day which i still haven't got rid of yet, though it is getting easier. I'm 11+5.0

Is it crazy that I am almost hoping I will get sick, because I think if I had no symptoms we'd have to remortgage the house to pay for the 5 pregnancy tests I would do every single day?!
Don't answer that....I know it is crazy!0 -

I had a proper booking in appointment with the nice midwife today and have asked to be swapped over to her care. i am being referred to the consultant because of my miscarriages and history of cervical smears/ colposcopies/ surgery on cervix, but she is hoping they will only see me once and then I can continue with midwife led care.
I have my 12 week scan booked on 20th Feb, and have declined the nuchal test. We made that decision with our first pregnancy, and after so many losses, I am happy to continue with that decision.
I had bloods taken- I already know I am rhesus negative, so will need the anti-d jabs, and I have a large family history of type 1 diabetes so they will monitor for that later on. I also did another urine sample for a water infection because I have been a bit sting-y.
I have another early scan tomorrow, when I should be about 9+3. I am really nervous and OH can't come, but if I can just through that tomorrow I might start to believe it is going to be ok.
because of the discrepancy between my lmp and the dates on my scans, we are waiting for my 12 scan to give a edd, but I think it is going to be the end of august or very beginning of September.0 -

Lol!
Just buy the ones from home health they only cost around 10p.
But yes you are crazy to want to be sick woman!it's really not nice at all! I've never felt so rough in my entire life.
Plus I had about 6 weeks off work - so depending on your works policy at work it might not work out too well cost wise anyway! I was basically trapped on the sofa, bed or loo for 4 weeks I only went outside to sit in the garden - one good thing about it being the summer at the time (the 34c heat did not help!)
Just seeing the jug I used to be sick in gives me the shudders - it's certainly not allowed in the kitchen now ha ha!0
