I feel so dizzy this week not like me at all. Might try drinking more water. I have never had dizzyness this early in pregnancy before.
Makes sure you don't stand up too quickly. It hink this is quite normal but usually at 12 weeks or so. Ive had a few dizzy spells this last week when ive stood up too quickly.
My sister was bad and would pass out sometimes when she stood up too quickly while pregnant. Then they found out she had high blood pressure.0 -

yeah its a bit early i am 9 weeks and a day. But since i posted this morning i saw on facebook there is a bug doing the rounds local that makes you feel nauseous and really tired dizzy and achy. So it might be a bug. I nearly posted are you sure you are not pregnant like me but hardly anyone knows i am pregnant.

HAHA, that is one way of announcing it!
Well im 10+4 and ive had dizzy spells for the last week. What ive noticed is that none of my symptoms happen at times there "suppose" to happen!0 -
I had my scan and booking in appointment yet, and all was well
My date has been put back a week, as I thought it probably would be. I'm currently 9 weeks and my EDD is 22nd April!
Dizzy spells can be due to low blood pressure too. My BP has always been low during pregnancy, and can make me feel tired and weak. During my first pregnancy I felt like I was going to pass out once while in a supermarket - I abandoned my trolley, grabbed a pack of biscuits and managed to pay for them, and make it to a seat to eat some! It seemed to help, I had eaten before I left the house so it wasn't hunger, but I must have looked mad to anyone who'd bothered to watch me

All the best for your scan Trixsie
Welcome Pheonix :j
Hugs for all you dizzy ladies!!!!
AFM although still feeling nauseous,*whispers* I have not been sick today(yet) Not sure if that is just because symptoms are settling (please, please!!!!) or because I had a wheetabix just before bedtime last night!!! My mum suggested I eat something last thing in case it was a low blood sugar thing.
Runs and hides in case I have jinxed myself!!!!Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -
Hi Georgie and Phoenix :j wishing you both a stress free few months ahead!x_missymoo_x wrote: »Also related to Emma's Diary, I got an email giving 30% off the Baby and Toddler show in Bluewater. Is anyone else thinking of going, or perhaps the Manchester one? I think OH and I will go to have a general look at things and get us in the baby spirit as we have really done very little towards planning for an arrival so far! It still seems so early, but I know we should start sorting bits out each month to save a huge shopping trip right towards the end. Also, are there any of you with DS's/DD's already who have been to a Baby show in the past? If so, what did you think of it, particularly as a first time parent?
Missymoo, I went to a baby show at earls court when expecting ds. Tbh I didn't think it was all that, was a lot of stuff that you just don't need are are 'nice to haves' but in reality quite useless and get in the way!! :rotfl: I was hoping to pick up some bargains or see some offers but I didn't think prices were much different to what you can get stuff for online. Also found it was very cramped and claustrophobic, not very well set out for a room full of hormonal pregnant women!! I did pick up a nappy bin which WAS a bargain and was very well used but I also know a lot of people who think they're rubbish!! Having said that, I am considering going again as a friends asked me to go with her!
I had my scan today :j:j baby was very wriggly and naughty and refused to pose in the correct positions for measurements but we got there in the end!! New EDD is 27/03/15 :T
Guess it's time to move to the next thread but I don't wanna go!! This ones all lovely and nice, I think the next is a lot quieter at the mo.
Hope everyone's had a lovely day0 -
Hi Phoenix
Glad the scans went well Gayleygoo and Always Alone :j
I need to stop being a wimp and join the next thread too! I think Carrot went yesterday so there'll be a few newbies!0 -
Hey Trixsie, glad you've been ok. How did your scan go? Exciting times to finally find out your dates properly!
Glad to hear your scans went well gayleygoo and Always :T I had a bit of faffing around at my last scan too because baby wasn't quite in the right position to measure, but I have to say it was good because it meant I had more time to be amazed by it on the screenCongratulations for officially graduating Always, we shall see you over on the other side soo and hopefully liven it up over there
Thanks for the info about the baby show too. I'm still undecided whether to go or not, I can imagine that they would have a field day trying to sell a new mum pointless stuff they don't need... hmm, decisions!
I went into Aldi today and got a few bargains in their baby event! I bought a few bumper packs of baby wipes only £2.39 each, some muslin cloths for £3ish, maternity leggings only £6.99 and some nappies. Had to settle on the standard size and not the jumbo specials because they didn't have newborns, plus my 50% off voucher was only valid on standard packs, so I bought my first pack of nappies for just £1.50! They also had sterilisers, bottles, baby bath supports, stair gates, blankets and more but I held off as I now need to make a list of what exactly it is that I need. I'm sure they'll have more baby events before April, they're normally every couple of months. Now to find space to put my supplies!
Welcome to Phoenix and Georgie:hello:
