Spent most of today sorting things for next weekends event, then been to a meeting for it, and now have to go out for a presentation meal. Even the thought of putting some mascara on is too much never mind the full face. And the ironing pile will still be there when I get home......yawn.....

Woke up a few times over the last few nights to find I've rolled onto my stomach and it's sore now.

Good evening all. I'm telling work tomorrow. I don't want to yet as I found out I was pg after being in my new job just under two weeks, but my boss won't let me have specific days off unless I say why. I asked to book my scan date and I said it was a routine hospital appt and she said I need a letter from the hospital first, but my letter says what it's for.
Also I work 9-11 hour days with only one break and it's taking it's toll on me, I need to rest in the afternoon even if it's only five mins.
I don't suppose it will change much if I tell her now or wait longer, but I also need to mention I'll need some time off when I have my op to stitch my cervix. I'm not sure which op, internal or vaginal being done yet but I will still need some time off.

I'm a bit scared I think she will go mad

Dear lovelies

Just off to my scan ( 53 minutes!) I just wanted to say thans for all the lovely messages and I might not be able to post about the scan till after work as today happens to be the day where I'm working in the hospital where I'm being scanned and as most of you know access is pretty blocked and using mobile phones a pain!

Good Luck montydoggy. SO hard to know which way people go...

Hi all

so after 4 days of positive tests I am ready to be added to the list. I do not know my scan date yet (I call on Wednesday to get date of early scan - as had IVF) but I reckon EDD is 8.12.14:j

The only symptons I am having is some cramping and being tired

Hi just wanted to join the thread. Have been TTC for about 2 1/2 years and we got the BFP a couple of weeks ago after our second round of IVF.


Trying not to worry about EVERYTHING! Had a 6 week scan at the EPU over the weekend and the little heartbeat was there. Only DH got to see it although I have my picture.


Have to go back on Friday for another scan as have been spotting/bleeding for over 2 weeks now, had a little clotting yesterday which was v scary. Trying to stay positive and encourage my baby bean to be strong.


Reckon EDD is November 21st.


Other than 1 bout of nausea, all I want to do is eat! Just got to keep praying.
