  • Hugs t2d. That sounds very stressful.

Must be frustrating to think you're going to have to pay to get seen earlier for something the nhs really should be dealing with now, but I think you're wise to be considering it. You've come too far to let this set you back.

Hopefully when you sleep on it you might feel better tomorrow and know what to do.

I really feel for you ladies having bleeding. It must be so so frightening. Try to take it easy on yourself t2d x
  • t2d, would it be possible for you to phone your oncology people and ask them to contact your maternity care people and make them aware of the importance of the stitch?
I really hope you get it sorted quickly x

I tend to worry too much about the private v public thing. Oncology was all private, but perhaps he can just prepare my records and transfer them to the hospital.
I'll try and relax tonight, and then restart tomorrow. It's just so hard at work to find the time, and privacy to make calls. Especially when secretaries never answer the phone and I can't accept callbacks. It's still early (week 8) so time to get this sorted I hope.
  • Bad news I'm afraid ... had the op last night in the end ... so I wish you all good luck and say goodbye for now xx

Quick update from me. I had my last scan at the ACU (IVF Clinic) this morning, and despite a real reduction in symptoms, the baby is still there and going strong! 17mm, exactly 8+1, beating heart and looking lovely.

The clinic also realised that I need a cerclage, and said they will see if they can refer me directly from the clinic, which would be much quicker. So I'm going to wait to hear from them later today before pushing for a private appointment.

I love scan days!! Gives me such a boost. Nothing now until week 12 unless there is a change due to the cerclage. I'm not sure I can cope that long without another peek.
  • Sorry to hear your news TOFT x
  • Just catching up...

    Welcome and congrats xcrat41 :) x

Nothing new from me, my symptoms (not that I had many) have disappeared completely, including sore breast's. Last week I could not lay on them, but last night I noticed I did without any discomfort. (I am a tummy sleeper and can not get out of the habit of attempting it.) I am not really worried and perhaps I have just got used to the discomfort?

I (finally) have my twelve week scan next week, so we will see. I also have a CB digi left so may just do that.
