Thanks amyloofoo I just hate it when you get a call and you don't have the choice to call back as they are closed.

I probably didn't explain it very well but bloods were taken at the outpatients near my Drs. The Dr gave me a slip to take and I went and had them done. The physical Drs surgery called me so maybe the bloods unit rang the Drs and said what the problem is. I hope it's something like they need more blood or something. Will ring when they open lol.

Thanks to everyone else too. It's nice I know I can come ask x

Haha, you don't have a choice about my lurkingness while there are so many ladies on here that I *need* to see birth announcements from! Glad I can occasionally be helpful, my noseyness at work has really paid off since becoming pregnant :rotfl:

I feel your pain MrsBunny, it's so frustrating isn't it?! OH must think I've fallen down the loo sometimes because I'm in there for ages trying to shake a little more out! :rotfl:

I agree with the others Amy, you're a useful lady to know! :) Glad to hear that your work knowledge has finally come in useful too! ;)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Just in case anyone's looking for car seats - Boots currently have a 20% off certain baby items code (on the voucher code board) which can be applied to certain car seats, including maxi cosi depending on colour choice. If you're not particularly bothered if the car seats are in an out of date colour ( I've been warned against black as it gets v hot in the car) theoretically you could order 1x pebble for £100 each, with 10 AC points per £ spent and hopefully quidco cashback of 10%, so £80 net cost per car seat.
  • MrsBunny my mother delights in telling me that the next time I feel like I've had a 'proper' wee will be when my waters break! Haha

Nothing fun to report here, strange itchy almost rash was back last night but I just had to ignore it. Bf is back for four nights (incl last night) so its nice to have human company at home :-) and was at the vets again for doglets ten day check up and his cone is off so he's back to sleeping in his cage - was getting frustrated by being woken up with a cone to the face in the night!

Baby is moving lots this morning and has been since I went to bed last night so that's nice :-)

Lots to do for bf on my lunch in preparation for him to go to Canada on Monday. Currency to collect then he needs two carabiners picking up and a travel mug he's pre-ordered! Plenty of walking and will take a bit of time but I've 'banked' two hours at work by starting early and finishing late three days this week and I've only used a little of it so going to use that and finish a little early hehe.

I also need milk, I have a really thing about milk at the minute :S I think I would like on milk and cereal plus the odd yogurt if I let myself.

I've been concerned about my weight gain for a while (partly because of an app I have - bad road to go down monitoring my weight! And partly as after losing so much I feel I'm slipping backwards) but now I'm feeling like I've plateud a bit which is nice. Everyone is telling me I have such a small bump which just frustrates me as I feel huge! Think I will weigh myself next time I'm back at my parents (will be the 31st) and then not doing it again until birth haha.

30 weeks today! 8weeks today I finish work and at the minute I wish it were 8 days - I have lots to do but feel like I'm treading water and not finishing anything at the minute :-( ahh well I better go get a quick shower and wake myself up and get ready!

    Morning ladies :)

I *think* I might be in labour... had some bloody show and irregular contractions (and of course it could all tail off and come to nothing ), so just hoping they pick up in frequency/regularity... Not slept since yesterday lunchtime though, so hoping this isn't gonna be a mammoth one! :o
