Hello! Sorry I have not read back through the whole thread yet so congratulations to all those with new babies to cuddle and hugs to those in need.

My son arrived in a very dramatic fashion and has required a lot of medical care over the last week or so however he is progressing well and I am totally in love! See you all on the newborn thread :D

Woah, woah, woah! :naughty: Details! I need details! :p Date, weight and name will do for now ;)

And congratulations! :) Hope you're both recovering well :)

My yoga/nct teacher said that if you had a cold it will "disappear" during labour, but will return shortly afterwards! So don't worry too much!

The same happened to me on my wedding day. I had a horrid cold the days before and felt dreadful the day after, but on the day I was perfectly fine. :D

Congratulations Teamlowe and Rummer. I hope you are both very well.

Morning! Woke at four-something for a wee and couldn't get back to sleep... Now on sofa under blanket after lying in bed awake for nearly two hours... I've got an early midwife appointment (38wk) so will probably get up properly when hubby does around 7, then have a nap later! I've been lucky with sleep so far so this is a bit of a shock for me!

Congratulations Rummer, hope you are recovering well x

One of my best friends was second birth partner for her sister (alongside sister's hubby) and helped at birth of baby girl yesterday. She even cut the cord. Funny to think that although many women will have our own childbirth experience it's still fairly unusual to be present at someone else's.

    Have a good day all...

Still no sign of baby, despite all day yesterday in constant pain and a two hour trip to the labour ward. Am only 2cm dilated which is only a cm more than when I had my second sweep. Feeling guilty as my little girl is at my mums and I think she is taking the day off today. Hubby is being great, I just don't remember it all be so agonisingly painful last time, maybe I shouldve left the raspberry leaf tea tablets alone.
Managed to get four hours sleep before the now irregular pains returned at 3am with a vengeance. Who knows, tomorrows induction might still be a reality....

    Hope Kerri is doing well.

    Congrats rummer.

    Good luck nickit x

Hope you manage to catch up on some sleep fran-o, lack of it is horrible, my sleep pattern seems to have settled a wee bit, the first few months were awful, so I feel your pain (also typing from under a blanket on the couch as I don't need to be up until 9 this morning!)

Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
