Congratulations TeamLowe! Fantastic news :D He's a beauty! What did your OH say? I had a 4d scan and mine definitely had testicles so I'd be in shock if that happened to me :)

Feeling more confident to join now Ive had my 20 week scan this week... I have got to go back as scanner could not see all parts of heart (due to wriggling) but everything else seemed fine and she has told me not to worry!

Welcome over sophiasmum - I had to go back for a re-scan for this too - couldn't see all the compartments of the heart. She did say there was nothing of concern, she just couldn't see everything she wanted to. All fine at the re-scan so try not to worry :)

Huge congrats TeamLowe on your little BLUE bundle - tee hee ;)

I almost had to have a rescan for the heart too but luckily the baby shifted just in time. Seems to be a common occurrence! It's actually amazing to see the four chambers pumping on the screen the level of detail they can see is incredible. Makes you wonder how they get the sex wrong sometimes!
  • Thanks for welcome and scan/heart experiences. She obv could tell sex as asked us if we we wanted to know but we said no.....didn't find out on my 2 girls (and with them I managed to have loads of scans for one reason or another! )

Just checking in to see if we had any news!

Challenge for you all while we all keep popping in. .. Our nursery is having alphabet letters on the wall. I'm using a full set on one wall and have spelt out dream for above the cot, change for the chest we've got the changing mat on and play for the space we've left for toys. Challenge is we've also got an armchair in the room which has a small bookcase next to it. . But I can't think of the right word! Letters I have left are:
    J I q f o x u I z v e w b o k o t I s. Best I can do is sit or book!

I liked books and can't see much more really. How about...
    Just Sit
    Sit Quiet
    Book Quotes
Sex or Jokes is there but not really baby room appropriate :rotfl:
    (hm, not the best, lol)

You could try putting letters into this link

Congrats and well done TL! Welcome baby Tomas Andrew - lovely name. I'm quite biased as that's DH's name only in reverse!

He is so cute in his pink hat!

Everything we have is gender neutral for now and we have both boy and girl names as choose names before starting IVF!

Nursery not yet sorted. I've been feeling a bit unwell as if I've had morphine? I slept well and even had a 3 hour nap but still feel like that. Oh well, let's see what tomorrow brings!

    Kerri - thinking of you

Bigzippy - hope you feel better soon

Also loving the pink hat TL ;) Can't believe you queue jumped me though! Is your sister eating humble pie now? ;)

I am really, really enjoying seeing everyone I spent so long on the TTC thread with now giving birth to lovely healthy babies.

Zippy, tell your baby to hurry up. I am lurking!!
:rotfl: I don't think s/he's in any hurry I'm afraid :p Mind you, while I'm full of a cold and DH now has a coldsore, I'm not in any hurry to evict either! Everyone else seems more bothered than I am about me being "overdue" - I think maybe I'm just still so happy to even be pregnant in the first place!? :)

We talked about names when we first started TTC, but they were all "taken/stolen" by the time we actually got pregnant, or they just didn't "feel right" by then. I'm still stumped. We just cannot agree!

Thanks, I do too :o I'm dreading the idea of this getting worse and going to my chest, or not being able to breathe through the labour, or giving it to MiniZee, or..... etc. And now I'm being told horror stories about coldsores being dangerous to newborns, which is not really what I want to hear about right now!

Hope all is/has gone well for Kerri, nickit and Rummer :)

You could cut the sticky out bits off one of the capital I's... then have 'I love books'?

Oooh that's tempting (although actually the letters are all lower case - mobile phone autocorrect at work!)

Think I'm going to stick up the ones above the cot and changing table and see how it looks - have spotted that one of the name options we like is spellable with the letters that would be left at that stage so might hang on and spell that somewhere instead!

    Thanks for all the suggestions!
