Thanks Lannie, 3mins was last night and they're further apart this morning. We're going to go for a bit of a walk soon as we know baby is in the right position now. They're not painful but they do feel strong. Surely can't be much longer now.

Hope things progress for you soon Kerri, must be so frustrating!
Welcome Sexki11en!
Glad that the lazy babies have been wriggling again!I thought my little man was trying to escape last night, was quite painful at times!
Not sure how I feel about having a bump shoot, I love the professional shots but I'm so awkward in front of a camera!Would really like a newborn shoot though.

Oh Kerri! How exciting for you!
Do you mind me asking where you did your hypnobirthing? I'm also in Bristol and very interested in learning more about this.

Hi ladies,
Another 12-24w refugee but i'm only a week early as i'm 22+5 today so hoping I can join?
I've been lurking for a while so feel like I know you all already and I recognise some of you from my early days on the TTC threads and various others.
As you can see from my sig, it's been a looooong journey for us but now we've passed the initial 12w (which were painfully slow) I've been surprisingly relaxed and am loving every bit of my pregnancy. I feel lucky every single day.
SK x:j Do you want adding to the list? (Just need due date and gender 'team')
I think you're in slow labour too kerri and that your body knows exactly what it's doing, whether you do too or notshe'll come when she's ready and when your body's ready and hopefully your 'true' labour will be shorter and easier as a result of this process. Just your body giving you chance to rest and recover between stages, as my midwife said
AFM I'm already getting progressively mithered by folk asking about baby coming out and I'm not even at my due date yet

BZ - May I also be added to the list? I'm only 16+5 at the moment though.
EDD 16/June/2014 Team Yellow for now, but we do want to find out the gender! '20' week scan is on 29th January (my birthday!).
Decided to make myself a cup of coffee, mainly so that I wouldn't fall back asleep in an hour or two, but also to get baby to move a bit. I slept through the normal boogie time of 10 am this morning! Went into the kitchen, started making said cup of coffee, while it was brewing, I put ingredients into our new to us bread maker for pizza dough. Before I could even pour the coffee into my cup, baby was kicking away again! I'm still going to enjoy my coffee though.0 -

Hope things get going properly for you soon Kerri.
My doppler came a couple of days ago so had another wee shot last night, can't for the life of me get it to record onto the laptop though.
Next time the lists are being done can I be added please?

SK - I did it with Helen from B1rth&Bl0om, the course was excellent but OH and I didn't think much of her unfortunately. We were last to have our LO and haven't heard how any of the other parents did which is really disappointing as some positive birth stories would be encouraging.
BZ - I've started screening calls, I don't think I'm overdue as LO will come when she's good and ready, but I'm getting fed up of people keep asking me, especially family, as I've told them we will let them know. You're definitely right though, OH said I've had information overload and it's not helping that I'm a control freak. He thinks if I was calfing without any intelligence then I would be much easier with it all. Oh well, going for a walk in the rain when he stops playing puter gamesDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Good Luck Kerri, won't be long now I'm sure.
I'm not sure what to do about telling people when I'm in labour... it's a bit tricky as we live, quite literally, in my Dad and Stepmum's garden in a self contained Granny annexe (2 bed cottage)
So that means as soon as we leave they will know, but in laws and my Mum won't.... could cause problems. I think I might say we'll let them know we've gone in (text maybe?) but we will then let them know when baby is here and when we're ready for visitors. They're generally quite good.
In other news, we picked up our isofix base yesterday and I've been petrified it won't fit in my car ever since! Just used a break in the stupid rain to find that not only does it fit, but I managed to do it all by myself! woop!
We bought a second hand crib that needed repainting (£10 on facebook) but when hubby started sanding he got a bit carried away, so now he's taking it back to bare wood to briwax it. I also have 2 chests of drawers that need waxing, and was about to get started when I read the tin which saus "May cause harm to the unborn child." Urgh! That means I have to wait til he gets home to do it.
I know I have 8 weeks to go, but I'm back to full time teaching for 6 of those 8 weeks, so I'm trying to be as ready as possible. Hospital bags pretty much sorted I think, got to wash all of babies things, put the crib up in our room, pay the rest of the pram and car seat and collect them, pick up some "emergency" formula, and I think we're ready.
