Can anyone recommend where to get raspberry leaf tea tablets from?
Also were they big/small tablets? Coated or horrid tasting!

As you can tell I'm not very good with tablets! But don't fancy having to drink loads of the tea version.

I got them from holland and barrett, they are capsules, don't taste of much but smell herby. If you've ever done echinacea tablets its similar I guess. The packet says 3-6 per day with food. I'm taking 3 per day at the mo (36wks+). You can also open the capsules to make tea. Hope that helps!

Your OH sounds like a star Ellie! My OH is a right big girl's blouse when it comes to 'gross things' (he's even getting some latex gloves for dealing with really bad nappies! :p) but I think that most people, including my OH, would step up to the mark when they really have to! My worry about it happening to me would be that we don't get a mobile signal in our bathroom and our home phone is a cheap corded one (basically only plugged in for making phone calls that would cost a lot from mobile otherwise it's kept in a drawer) so OH would be running between me and the phone! :p

Your afternoon sounds lovely Claire, enjoy it! :) I hope I can sneak away from work a bit early today... glad it's the weekend already. :) Going to be hard next week at work having to go in for 5 straight days without a mid-week break! Every day is one step closer to my maternity leave though! :D

Latex gloves :rotfl:that reminds me of when me and a friend were baby sitting as teenagers and had to change our neighbour's daughter's stinky nappy and my friend got a clothes peg and put it on her nose, it really hurt her, we were almost wetting ourselves with laughter!

Oh well better tell your DH to buy an apron too or some waterproof clothing - when I was a few months old we lived in the US for a bit because of my Dads job. He took me on a little ride at Disney World and i pooed all over him (I guess some character must have scared me lol). He said he came off the ride, pulled the t-shirt off over his head trying not to cover himself in it, and had to buy some over priced disney one lol! I think my parents also had problems because I was 5lb 14 and my Mum said back then you didnt really get all this tiny baby stuff you get now, so nappies were prone to leaking as I had skinny legs!

And my friend who I changed the nappy with, apparently her older sister was in a cot one day, her mum went in the room, and it really stunk, turned out her sister had pooed and it had leaked out and she wiped it all around the cot and it was in her mouth too!

My other friend who had a baby last year, said there was one bad occasion where her baby had projectile diarrhea and it sprayed all over a chest of drawers and the nursery wall! So you might want to warn your OH to watch out :rotfl:

Hmmmm some lovely stories you have there Claire! :rotfl: OH just turns green and goes to his happy place when he hears things like that! My SIL got covered head to foot in poo one day whilst a (male) friend was round and he was more worried that some of it might have touched his trainers which were in the splash zone! Don't think he minded the impromptu strip show though as SIL took everything off where she was standing! :rotfl:

Of course, my baby will only do neat little poos that are nice and easy to clean! :D
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Hi ladies hope you are all ok xx

Baby crazy few days here. Had health visitor come out yday (pointless!) & antenatal physio class last night. Then had whopping cough jab today.

Booked a bump shoot & newborn photos yesterday, really excited about those! Anyone else having one?

Yup lots of nice stories ;)

I'm sure your DH will acclimatise!

My friend with the projectile poo baby used to be terrible with sick, but think she's getting better now although admittedly baby sick isn't usually that bad so I guess we'll see as her little girl gets older!

I feel like my 1st trimester tiredness is coming back I get to around 8pm each night & I'm ready for bed!

Was the health visitor for your 31week appt or was it additional? What did she do? I don't think we see them here til after the birth.

My sisters soon to be husband who will be here for their wedding in May is a photographer so I was debating asking him to do a few shots although I don't know if he'll have time. I might book one if not.

    Love the poo stories!

Bit of a worrying time for us tonight. Just heard that MIL has been issued with a flood warning and asked to vacate her home! Hopefully it's just a precaution but scary for her, she's only been in house couple of months with new furniture etc.

Becca, what sort of pics will you have for your bump shoot. It's not something I fancy myself and always feel a bit cringey when I see semi naked bump shoots. Don't know why!! I love baby bumps and far from prudish but still weirds me out a bit!
Not sure if well do a pro newborn shoot. Hubby is keen on photography and treated himself to a great camera not long ago so may just rely on his skills!! You'll have to share a bump pic or too see if you can persuade me to change my mind! Probably doesn't help that my bump is a bit flabby looking!

I have a midwife visit to my home next week to discuss my birth plan and then a few days later I get a community midwife to discuss breast feeding.

Not having a bump shoot as I'm not very self confident, especially with the stretch marks and I gotta be honest and say I don't like the newborn pictures I've seen where they're in unnatural positions but I'll probably be taking a thousand pictures anyway lol

Eta: this is the sort of pose I mean http://www.melissabergphotography.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Newborn-Photography-Raleigh-07.jpg
Just makes me think poor baby, leave them be to sleep! Lol

Just had a surprise visit from mum and got told off for wanting a birthing ball, she's worried I'll fall off it lol

Had a lovely celebration Italian too, mussels, pizza and banoffee pie mmm :)

Oh and given DH the green light for his car loan, so he'll be looking at them over the weekend. Sounds mad but he's paid off the scooter which he hates and there's room in the budget. Plus I feel like he should have an affordable luxury if he's the one working to provide for the family. I'll still control the household finances as he's far too frivolous lol

I am STILL pregnant! I got on the punchbag man outside this afternoon due to hormones driving me potty and I thought I was going to snap at OH. Have been having stupid BH all day!!! We went to Portishead for a walk, were rained off so went for a lovely 4 course Italian lunch (I chose the most expensive steak on the menu), was having strong contractions that were increasing until I got to the chocolate brownie sundae...then it all disappeared!!! I am SOOOO frustrated! Taking my own advice I am going to go and ask OH to try to get me to relax ;) but thought I'd check in to say still no baby grrr.
