Nappies? They're often the best price on there.

Anyway thanks just ordered as I already had something in my basket I was waiting for it to get to £10!

Thanks Claire I need to stock up on nappies so will do this! Just spotted a bumper pack of newborn pampers for 13p a nappy, looks like the best value!

Anyone wanting to buy lansinoh it's currently 6.66 on amazon! I'm just trying to find something else to buy to make it up to a tenner for free postage! X

Lansinoh is also 1/3 off at sainsburys atm, £6.65 if that's easier than amazon for anyone. I picked some up last week :)

You beat me to it Polka_dots... I picked up a tube too. My mum's comment was "You can't beat savoy cabbage leaves!" apparently you keep it in the fridge and put a leaf inside each bra cup!!!

I get this con1888 especially when I stand up. It soon disappears as I get moving.

I scared poor DH this morning by waking up yelping, it was terrible leg cramp (still hurts now) but he got panicked that it was the baby.

Yep it went away almost as soon as it arrived. OH got a fright though as I just went OUCH and clutched my lower belly. I also had him in a panic the other night when I had terrible indigestion as I was trying to to wake him but he woke up to me breathing heavily and kind of whimpering whilst holding my belly.

Think it's soon going to be time for him to sleep on the couch as this morning my tossing and turning woke him up, I'm doing it a lot and don't know it.

I'm the same at night Con, OH is grumping that I am waking him tossing and turning, snoring and general restlessness, I'm always exhausted when I get up as I have been awake about once an hour all night. I came through to the couch this morning and slept for a couple of hours.

  • Thanks for the kind wishes all. I will post a picture but bot sure how to do it on my phone! We have called little one Phoebe Jane. Tiredness hasn't kicked in yet but I'm feeling lucky it was a short labour especially since there was only a small first degree tear. I must admit its nice to not be down a nights sleep before I've even begun! Becàuse we were back at home I managed about 3.5 hours last night as well as a long nap today.

Sorry to hear lots of you arrest sleeping much ... Hope you can wangle a Sunday lie in or nap!

I would third/fourth the suggestion for lasinoh cream - I don't think you need to use much!

Con I'm the same. DH used to never wake for anything but now he's practically sleeping with one eye open.

Mince pie that's a lovely name.

Congratulations MPM! Lovely name. :j There does seem to be a trend to go 10 days over... hope that's not me as I'm ready for eviction now! ;) I have a feeling it will be though, this baby is far too settled inside for my liking! :p

Great tips about the witch hazel ladies, thank you! :) I'll get some nipple shields too, to add to the 'Just in case' pile which is getting bigger by the day! :o

I keep getting funny sharp pains under my bump when I move too quickly too. It's just getting worse the further along I get so don't worry if it happens to you! It seems to be worst if I've been kind of reclined on the sofa then try to get up, like something seizes up? IDK, it's annoying and painful whatever the cause!

    37+6 :o
