Hope you feel better soon stsarina!

Good luck BZ, hope this is it and things progress quickly!

Was my last day at work today! :j Managed to get everything sorted and left the new lady looking very scared at the prospect of not having me there on Monday... but I no longer care! :D They were all super generous and bought us a Jumperoo and a little bear snowsuit as well as treating me to lunch out! Was so pleased that I didn't cry because I was so close after feeling so loved! :)

Re: nappies. We've got a few (4?) packs of various branded newborn nappies. No idea how long they'll last but didn't want to stock up too much on one type for baby to not get on with them. :)

We too are buying different brands, so far have pampers, little angels and some tesco ones. Just buying a pack each time I'm in the supermarket.

Got lots of 24 hour supermarkets near us anyways, 3 of them within a 10 minute drive

Oooh yay go bigZ, can't wait to see if you're pink or blue. Drink plenty of fluids before 5cm, after that I couldn't stomach anything and sowish I'd drunk more beforehand.

Re: nappies - I'm changing Isabella with every feed except the 3 in the night, so between 8-12 a day. We're using naty from b00ts until she's big enough for our AIO reusables. Already on reusable wipes.

When the baby's here I'm looking forward to some yummy cured meats like chorizo and Parma ham

You do know you can eat these perfectly fine when you're pregnant? It's only in the states they advise against it but here in the UK, it's deemed fine.

Good luck BZ! Rest and some food sounds like a very good plan to me, that and a nice soak in the bath if you feel like it.

AFM, not been around for a couple of days as ended up in hospital again with the hyperemesis - very embarrassing to have the ambulance out at 3am with all the neighbours staring, but the OOH GP put his foot down and sent me in - and to be fair, I felt horrendous so needed to be there. Got home this morning with strict instructions to take it steady for the next few days, so no baby shopping for me this weekend :(

Oh no. You must have felt dreadful to go at that time as well.

I feel very grateful I managed to keep out of the hospital with my sickness, I think the tablets were my saving grace I would have been there otherwise.

How many weeks are you now? You must be literally sick of it!

DH is at the pub with his boss and co-workers, and I'm sitting at home being lonely. Watching a cop show so that the house isn't quiet. I suppose I need to find some real life friends, but I've never really been able to make friends easily.

    I hate being lonely. :(

I know the feeling hun, I don't have many friends either, I can't keep hold of them tbh because of my depression and anxiety, that and also because I can be a bit blunt and say it how it is.

Ah I get lonely too. In a different way. My friends are all party goers and don't have mortgages and a child already. Times change x

I'm in Norwich. I'm on the forum all of the time, and I love my friends here, it's just not quite the same as being able to call someone or visit with someone when you're feeling irrationally sad, lonely, or upset.

I have depression (medicated well, thankfully), and aspergers, so I have a very difficult time expressing myself and understanding body language, facial expressions, etc. At least on the forums, it's words, which I can handle.

I've been having really bad dreams for me lately as well, all having to do with DH leaving (which I know he would never do) or drifting away from me. I feel like I don't do enough around the house, and that I should do more because I'm a housewife. I hate the fact that I just don't feel like doing anything right now but sleep. :(

It also doesn't help that I'm worried about us having enough money for my indefinite leave to remain. I don't want to be kicked out of the country 3 week after mini-tm is born, which is when my spousal visa expires (4-July, mini is due 16-June).
