Had a really bad day so to start with, the goals;
1) NSD 1 of July
2) no money made-too hot for jam and been out all day.
3) 8550 steps despite the heat
4) Shredded Wheat for breakfast...and it's a damn good thing I made that goal...
I don't know if
I mentioned that on monday I got a phone call for a cancellation dental appt today,so off me and Dad went expecting it to be a quick check of what fillings chipped and some temp dressings and a revised treatment plan for november...
But no...
The dentist sneak attacked me with IV sedation and finishing the work off today...except the IV sedation didn't work so well, I had been told that with it I would be conscious but not really aware of what was going on...I could sing you every song that the radio played and repeat the conversations they had word for word...
Then after treatment I got told I had to get a new regular dentist for check ups...now bear in mind that the last check up I had at the phobia clinic couldn't be done properly cuz of my anxiety so my last check up was actually under a GA! Cue major panic attack.
Eventually the dentist told me to ring in 4 months time and they would book me just one check up with them...but I'm still not calm about it.
I also got prescribed toothpaste, the dentist told me one thing, the personalised label on the box says another and the internal general label says yet another thing, so I am totally confused!
Dad then took me to foodbank cuz we agreed it was best to keep me occupied as long as Steve was happy with me being there. Which made a happy couple hours but didn't get as much done as usual cuz I. Kept coming over dizzy...then we discovered all the chocolate had melted! So I have donated my fridge from the caravan (not as though I'm using it atm) so that may save a few pennies as had forgotten to turn it off! They know they need to get their own and I want it back when I can go home.
Drs Surgery had !!!!ed up my weekly script again, but they got it sorted while there, at which point I had just had enough.
So, not a happy bunnie...and even with all these drugs i can't sleep :mad:Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0 -
Dentist ...:eek: but at least its done.....I had that happen to me once...went to have a check up to see if wisdom tooth/infection had settled....it had so he whipped the tooth out :eek:. I had to get a taxi back to work with a numb face not being able to talk:rotfl:and write down instructions for receptionists to call DH to pick me up.

Well done of the steps - I managed no extra today ...way too hot:o
xx

So excited about my weigh in today that I can't wait until the evening to share!
14st 13.4lb....which is a 2lb loss :T and brings me under the 15 stone barrier
Noah, i think a lot of the steps were in the morning while I was simultaneously trying to make pasta sauce and play on the computer upstairs...I also walk round and round the garden after dark when it cools clutching a torch :rotfl:Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0 -
Oh you have my sympathy with the dentist I don't like going either

Well done on the weight loss :T you've inspired me to get my act together, I've been drinking more water and snacking less
haven't got a clue what I weigh as I go by how tight my clothes feel :rotfl:

Oh yes didn't think about the heat, have you got any farmers/ market shops or that kind of thing that you could get stocked in or is that a whole other ball game with the food standards etc
But at least you'll have plenty of stock for when the weathers cooler

It's a whole other ball game, it means getting a refractometer cuz I'd have to declare the total sugar contents on the jar and changing my labels....
If it cools in the evening I'll put some out...if I wasn't so shy I'd put out a sign saying "it's too hot for the jam to come outside...come visit it in the nice cool house" lolCredit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0 -
How abouts putting it all out in an ice bucket/cool box with ice packs which you replenish here and there?
- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 - :cool:

Hey Levi, trust me, it's something that I have contemplated, also contemplating investing in a better table or some sort of covering so that it is in that shade. The condensation from icepacks would be bad for the labels and make the ink unreadable unfortuantely. I'll just keep !!!!!!ing on. At some point I'll be able to get some sales, especially if the temperatures drop to a more reasonable level!Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0

Early update today. Despite all the sedatives didn't sleep well last night, but then crashed out for 4 hours during the daytime today when it rained and got a tad cooler for a bit. So, my goals;
1) NSD 2 - didn't leave the house exceot to pace the garden
2) No real progress, I'll probably not really get back into the surveys and stuff again until Dad has finished marking as he has the computer most of the day atm.
3) 7360 steps...although I expect that will go up more before bed tonight
4) Shredded Wheat topped with banana for breakfast today.
In other exciting garden news, I finally had a female flower open on a courgette plant...so I artificially inseminated it, just to make sure it got fertilised
