Can any of you ladies recommend a really effective eye make-up remover?

I use oil too when I've been wearing waterproof mascara and if I can be bothered :p but L'Oreal micellar solution works really well in shifting "normal" mascara. Is the UD liner waterproof? I use Avon Supershock to tightline sometimes and the L'Oreal stuff won't budge it. If I CBA with oil, I use No7 eye makeup remover, it's blue and you have to shake it before pumping it out. I prefer not to though, as I find it leaves my eyes greasy, even more so than almond oil!

FizzWhizz - I use an AVON sunscreen factor 30, which is matte but I don't think they still do it but there will be something similar if you have a rep and can look at the book.

Thankyou :) My SIL gets The Book and I'll ask her for a looksie next time she had one. I doubt I'd come out of that one unscathed though! I have never in my life ordered one thing from Avon; usually more like 8 :o

UU #22: Sainsburys Anti Dandruff 2 in 1 Shampoo ; DH uses this, WBA but not til the other 5 in the bathroom cupboard have gone :o

UU #23: Abbott & Broome Handwash 300ml; WBA, these come from Aldi and look like Molton Brown. We get through A LOT of handwash, this smells nice, isn't drying and is only 99p :money:

I love Benefit The're Real! Takes all sorts I suppose. ;)

    Right one IN to report.

1 - Look-a-like original source lemon and tea tree shower gel from Aldi. It was 49p in the Christmas bit and the mister loves this type of thing.

    Now for the OUTS

21 - Superdrug antiseptic cream that had gone, sort of, liquidy. TA
22 - Elemis fresh skin skin clear mattifying moisturiser. This was lovely, light and citrussy smelling. Would buy again if not tested on fluffies...must check.
23 - Manuka doctor bee venom night cream - horrid like the others. Used as make up remover. WNBA.
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Doing quite well this month, no INs :) but that's because I've hardly been out at the shops and have been avoiding the Grabbit board.
Have cut the end off some random handcream that I was sent to test. I think it's Boots Expert range and is pretty good.
Still have quite a lot spluttering but they are all hanging in there :p

Getting really fed up of the weather, everything is lying and water and there's flooding all round about.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

It's me checking in at crazy o'clock as usual. :)

Finally a UU from my PP list - M&S honey hand cream that I got for 50p at their final clearance. Really liked this even though I had been putting it off for ages. Kicks Liz Earls hand cream b*tt!

Over at my bf's my Balance Me hand cream is nearly a goner too:)
Not that I don't have one or two to replace it.

Finally managed out for a small bit of sale shopping. Still shuffling about with my back ( but not in a LMFAO fun way) :D. I did pick up a gift set of Davidoff Cool Water Woman 30mls with shower cream and body lotion for £10. Really chuffed as my own one is spluttering.

I really like the favourite product list thread and will get time to add my thoughts.

PM me if you'd like another of the Balance Me hand creams, I tried mine a couple of times but found the scent too overpowering, I'll happily pop it in the post if you'll make use of it.

thought I,d mention this in case anyone out there has had problems like me.Spent ages trying to process an order to a local firm but kept having problems including my basket emptying just as I was about to pay.The lovely lady called me after I emailed a complaint and said it could be the browser I was using(er what,s a browser I asked?!!!)seems I was using internet explorer and that could be what was causing the problems....sure enough switched to firefox(had it there but need to think to use it) and problems all gone. Also did a Marks shop today and same thing, could not get to the final checkout but no problems on firefox so worth trying if you have problems(mind you could be a cunning ploy by DH to stop me spending!!!)

I had a similar problem checking out on sites using Google Chrome, switched to Firefox, all good ever since :D

I'm constantly a few pages behind at the moment as the thread flies along! I have one UU, Balance Me Otto Rose body wash - WBA - not usually a massive fan of rose scented products but I can see what all the hype is about on this one, its lovely. I also have an IN - L'Oreal Preference Conditioner, not that I've coloured my hair yet but it is desperate, my greys are showing through! Well ladies, I've not had much chance to pamper or UU this last week as with the bathroom being ripped out I was washing in the kitchen sink for most of last week and flushing half a loo with a bucket of water!! :rotfl:All worth it though, as of Saturday afternoon I now have a finished brand spanking new bathroom which is an oasis of calm and a mecca to pampering :smileyhea

If you'd like to see and someone can explain how, I'll try and post some pics - those bath bombs in the stash will soon be toast, the bathroom is now a place to relax and recharge, not to get in and out of as quickly as possible! :j

    Hello newbies!

misty blue - I rate Dior and Lancôme bi-facil, but not very MSE I'm afraid. I'm yet to find a cheaper one that doesn't cause the same problems as you're having. That said, a bottle does tend to last a good six months, which softens the blow!

emsjune - would love to see pics! Lucky you :)

wondercollie and fizzwhizz - happy holidays!

No more UUs to report yet but in holding out hope that my Clinique DD lotion might finally be a goner in the next few days :j

Not UU'ed but details of some NBI's from Amazon Vine.
One of them worked well (although others report different results)

One of them didn't work so well, again others have had different experiences so I'll give them another go.

Yet to use and review my new gadget, which performs a similar purpose but will update you on that.
Toiletries are moving slowly, I did UU the 75ml Next Enchanted Shower Gel, but as this can't be bought anymore it's hardly worth mentioning!

I am doing my first PP list.
I pledge not to swap to another product until these items are finished. Some are almost empty but I always find that's when I leave them as they seem to go on forever...:o

    [strike]1. Anthony cleanser[/strike]
    [strike]2. EH eye serum[/strike]
    [strike]3. Caudalie radiance serum[/strike]
    [strike]4. Caudalie night cream[/strike]
    [strike]5. SBC collagen gel[/strike]
    [strike]6. MB exfoliating cleanse bar[/strike]
    [strike]7. LE hand repair[/strike]
    [strike]8. Pantene perfect curls shampoo[/strike]
    [strike]9. Head & shoulders itchy scalp conditioner[/strike]
    [strike]10. Percy & Reed no oil oil.[/strike]

    Have a good day xx

EDIT: all used up - 27th Jan! Yay!

    Hello All,

3 OUTs today and 1 was from my PP - the last PP item so I've completed January's list! :T

Pantene Perfect Curls Shampoo - WNBA, this seemed to go on forever. Smelt too synthetic for my liking. It's a relic so they probably don't even sell it now!

Elizabeth Grant hand & foot treatment - WNBA, this was a relic and was still sealed but upon opening it, it had most definitely gone off so in the bin it went. I then worked out that I probably bought this about 10 years ago! :o

Garner Moisture Match wake me up for dull skin sachet - WMBA, this was just a sample sachet but I did like it. Smelt nice and went on smoothly.

I do have 4 INs to report but don't have then to hand so shall list them next time.

    Toodles xx

    IN's
    100ml Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm
    15ml " Iconic Youth Serum
    15ml " Moisturiser

Looking forward to hearing what you think of it.
I keep hovering over the add to basket button!
I think I'll probably succumb by the end of the week if I'm totally honest. :o
