Ended up having a little look in Boots yesterday to see if they had anything decent in the sale, but luckily for my purse there was almost nothing left! Did buy hair dye but it was on offer, and I gave away the No7 voucher to a friend so can't be tempted to use it.New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Hi Mrs MP, yesterday I noticed a thread on here (under health & beauty moneysaving) that queried if Aldi were discontinuing beauty products unless on a special offer, might be worth a look there and possibly a little buying spree if you might be running short of anything.:D
thank you for that i think im going to have to go down and have a look, as ive only got 1/2 a serum left, i was being good and using other brands up before another spend but dont want to risk missing it.SPC~12 ot 124

I have my first Project pan out this month :j
Charlie Mystic 50ml which was left over from the Xmas 2012 pressies.
I have suitably replaced it with another body spray this time a cheapy from tesco which is half used already, i don't really like the cheap body sprays as they don't seem to last as well as perfume thru the day and often clash if i try to wear both.
Jan 2UU No Ins
First chance i got to go into a boots store today at lunch.... the shelves wear bare like they had been ransacked by a horde of crazy people (was it you lot?) only a few cheapy cheesy xmas mugs and xmas tags and wrapping paper were left to be found:rotfl:0 -
I too made the mistake of going into Boots to see if there was anything left in the 70% sales. Unsurprisingly there was nothing left but I didn't quite make it out unscathed!
There was an offer for 100 extra points for a Botanics product, and they were on offer so I have an In..
Botanics Purifying Face Scrub 75ml [STRIKE]£3.99[/STRIKE] £1.99
Oops! Is there any room on the naughty step? I'm just annoyed with myself as I have more than enough face scrubs!0 -

Oh dear, time to declare the latest INS.
16 - No 7 Eyeshadow Duo in Royal - this was reduced to £3 for some reason and I paid with points. No excuse though really.
17 - Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Elusive
18 - Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Showy
19 - Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Audacious
20 - Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Complex
I got all the above with £2 off each. In my defence, I have been waiting ages for these to come out :j not yet tried them but they look lovely and have read good reviews. I have another 3 on my list to buy but am hoping boots may do 3 for 2 again soon. Might not be able to wait that long though if I love them :eek:0 -

Only just seen this, thank you! And yes I agree, Alcott knew her stuffI've been trying to keep that quote in mind tonight as we're deciding on themes and colour schemes, and I'm trying to remember that it's not a competition and no-one will care if we don't make everything ourselves or we don't have certain things!

Hello to all newcomers.
A few more UU to declare:
Champneys mediterranean bliss bubble heaven - WMBA currently using in conjunction with other minis from the range - it has a odd fragrance but
strangely I like it.
5ml Liquid gold - have a full size in the stash - Have decided to use this in an attempt to clear up my skin.
Sure max protection cream deo - WBA HG.
Have painted my nails with one of my (many) untried - Elevation polish - Muztagh AtaNo more buying toiletries0 -
Sorry I forgot to say earlier welcome to any newcomers to the thread
Spent the evening going through my stash and reorganising it - anyone else love doing this?I love it but also feel very guilty.
Toiletries stash isn't too bad now, I have a lot of body lotion to use still and also a lot of bath products due to going a bit mad in the Lush sale. I just realised that before Christmas I only had 1 unopened shower gel left in the stash :T however, I gained another 3 at Christmas
The make up stash however is horrendous, particularly eyeshadows and lip products. I have a real problem with both of these. Most of this I have gained in the last year or so due to starting to read beauty blogs and watching you tube. I am appalled at how much money I must have spent in a year on make up. I tend to really want these sort of products after seeing them raved about. They then just sit in my stash unopened as I hardly ever wear eyeshadow or lip products:o:o
I've really got to do something about this. Went through everything this evening and left products out and I WILL start to use everything on rotation or give it away if I don't like it. I must stop looking at more things to buy. I know that I buy stuff when I feel down - it used to be clothes but has now changed to make up. Hardly buy any clothes anymore which is good but have just changed from one problem to another.
Sorry for the ramble!0
