Ouch. My sympathies. I did the same to my smartphone just before Christmas. :( :o

    Oooooooo noooo!

Mind you I can't fault Apple, my new one arrived at 1pm, less than 24 hours after I reported it to them! Now I have a brand spanking new one for £206.44 instead of £429 :D:D:D

It's going nowhere until this arrives though.....

I got it in purple, so it will go with every bag I have. The tan one, the black one, the turquoise one..... :rotfl:

Everything I own is purple Kadi- handbag, purse, scarf....

I filled a basket at boots online when I was on the train to work this morning (what else are you going to do at 6am?!) but didn't checkout. I have a couple of UUs but will report them when I get home. I'm away seeing a friend (and going to a spa for the day! Treat!) so have a few samples with me. I have also cut open a much maligned body lotion that should be dead by the end of the weekend!
    Hope everyone is well!

    ETA: welcome kb_soma!

Anyone who is having issues with clutter or hoarding check out flylady and apartment therapy's January cure. Each are step by step, handholding helpers. I'm desperate to be more organised, trying to avoid the hoarding and disarray I grew up in.

My Latest in Beauty sample box arrived today, so 6 INs to report... :o

    L'Occitane repairing shampoo
    L'Occitane repairing conditioner
Noble Isle Willow Song shower gel
    FoM Contouring body serum
Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning bath & shower oil
BalmBalm relax bath & shower oil

Got nothing from the Boots sale so as these are sample sizes I don't think I've been too bad. ;)

She calls that a stash? That looks like the bare minimum to me.

exactly, that's not a stash!! :rotfl:

  • A load of UUs:
    - Spa foot scrub- not sruby enough but very refreshing
    - Timotei vivid Colour shampoo - current HG
    - Fruity strawberry shower gel- I hate strawberry flavoured stuff but this was really nice, think its from Tescos
    - Skin Therapy 2 in 1 cleanser and toner- current HG

Well I still haven't been to Boots, I was intending to have a look but been stuck in with builders for the last two days. My sis did hoever order me a couple of Extracts sets online but whether they arrive is another matter!

Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • I feel like I had a use up this morning, but I've forgotten what it was... I don't know if that's a good sign or a bad sign :rotfl:

Minerva_Windsong, can I just say how much I liked your signature about your wishes for your wedding on Nov. 1st?

Well, I had a narrow escape earlier. Nothing to do with the Boots 70% sale...
Amazon Vine offered me free goodies tonight, just 4 targeted things to choose from this month. I made a dive for the Breville Soup Maker (a blender and mini cooker combined) I was offered, I got that, :T then I saw the words 'Beauty Set' and made a dive for that. :o (Pavlovian reaction, see the word 'Beauty' and click, with mouth watering. :D )

Fortunately others who had been offered it had got in first and there were none left, though I probably missed it by nanoseconds.

So, oh irony of ironies, I have a book on consumerism written by Harry Waller from the 'Superscrimpers' programme instead. I was slightly surprised to be offered it, as it's not a new book -released a year ago - but it does look a good read.

I am so pleased now that I didn't get the 'beauty set' - I'm not sure what I expected, there wasn't time to look at it properly before I clicked, but it turned out to be two 250 ml body washes and a body puff  .

I already have c 400ml of Avon, 500ml of OS Shea & Honey, 150 ml of Next, c450 ml of Imperial Leather and 30ml of Rituals shower stuff to use.
1200 ml of that was gifts/a random competition win, only the Avon wasn't. (But I also haven't gone in search of a new Avon Rep just yet...)

I got a PM asking me to change my password. Haven't done it as yet.
That's what I got. I'm going to try and message them re: the problem I'm having.
I got a PM about changing my password too but I haven't done it yet.

Welcome to the thread kb_soma. :)

I have some ins to declare from the Boots sale after we made an unplanned trip to Exeter this afternoon. I was surprised that there were a few bits and pieces left at 70% off so I used my points to buy the Champneys Exotic Retreat Collection Mini Hat Box and Energising Lime Collection Mini Hat Box for £3.60 each.

I didn't really need either of these and I was aiming to buy nothing this month, but I don't feel too bad as I was quite restrained. I even left the Sanctuary Mande Lular Bubbly Bath Box on the shelf which is most certainly progress for me......! :p

UU #10: Elemis Balancing Lavender Facial Wipes. WNBA, well, moot point as these were a freebie when we flew business class to Dubai (flights were a wedding gift) and I'm FAR too poor to pay for posh flights :rotfl: but even if I won the lottery(!), I wouldn't use them again. Didn't smell great, felt a bit dry despite being individually wrapped and my skin felt OK but not great afterwards. I only used it because I was in bed watching the snooker and didn't want to miss the action whilst in the bathroom :o Rock n Roll lifestyle here, people

I'm mental busy today. Working, supermarket run, giving blood and driving my boys to their dad's in Wales, roll on 7pm when I can put myself in the recovery position and flop for the weekend.

ETA; DH has just asked me to go to Boots and get him some shaving gel, steely resolve required!
