Champneys distant shores bubble bath mini - WNBA didnt love the fragrance as much as I thought I did although it made a good bubbles.

Well both happy and sad to report boots was a flop. Came home with my £25 worth of points still intact! Not a thing worth getting, mostly sweets left. Which means I'm looking to be forking out full price for my hair spray :/ , not run out yet so going to keep an eye out for any offers. Can't believe it had all gone so early I went straight there after dropping lil sis at college. But oh well :)
My ikea trip was much more successful and I now have under bed storage, I have a stupidly short bed so cant usually find stuff to fit under it but some ikea drawers do :D plan is to sort stuff usually I get a bit ocd and all body lotions go together all next thing go together, but this time it's going in order I want to use them up :D .
Current stuff is going on or in bed side table, open partially used stuff is going in the first drawer they will be next to grab, then ones I really like mixed in with ones I just want to get rid of now. And then the specials box things like the S&G stuff I want to use all up now but keep trying to resist...
See how long they stay like that before I can't help but reorganise them :/

A UU from this morning's DIY pedicure: Avon Foot Works 3 in 1 Pedicure.
This is supposed to moisturise and fragrance as well as exfoliate. It does the exfoliate bit quite well, not too scrubby if you have tickly feet. As for fragrance and moisturise, well- you have to rinse it off afterwards so it's not enormously moisturising. You do need a cream afterwards in my opinion.
    WIBA?
The usual price for this is £5 for 75ml, which, like many an Avon product, is over-priced for what it is. I would perhaps get it again if it was on a good offer.
I've replaced it with a scrub I got from Home Bargains, twice the amount of product for a fifth of the price, no contest really.

Oh no, it wasn't because of your frustration at the boots website :(

No, this order was placed a few days ago, I really must stop now! ;)
Have you got accidental cover on your household insurance?
If so, depending on your excess it might be worth looking into.

I thought about that but no I don't, I would be covered if it had been lost or stolen but not if I'd broken it.

Kadison - to breaking your ipad.

emsjune - well done to your DH on the job front.

I have an in which I had forgotten about

    Philosophy Living Grace EDT

I bought this from Debenhams using £30 of points so just had to put £2 cash towards it, the points earned on this took me to just over 1000 points remaining on my card after this spend so that will be £10 converted at the end of the month.

They had a 500 bonus points offer on when you spent over £35, there wasn't anything for £3 that I wanted and the nearest was a L'occ soap at £4.50 but that would have meant spending £4.50 to get £5 in points so I didn't bother. A huge step forward for me. Normally I would have done several orders on separate days to get the bonus points.

  • I would just like to say how much I hate spluttering products! I have about four or five things that are on the verge of going, and I just want them to be done so I can put them on my OUTs list. I got really excited just now because my work hand cream seemed to be empty and I thought I'd got one, and then there was just a bit more left in there!

It's mainly make-up as well which always seems to last far far longer than you think it will. However I'm really close to the bottom of them all and then I have some samples to use up before buying anything else, so hoping that I'll have a big long list of OUTs to see me through to the end of the month.

On the plus side, I now have a date agreed for my make-up bring and buy with some ladies from another forum for next Saturday, so will be spending the weekend going through my stash boxes and deciding what to get rid of. Hopefully I'll be able to clear out some stuff and get a few extra pennies into the bargain.

we have hot water again(jumping for joy but icons don't work on this machine!)....was missing for a week but new water tank fitted now....very cold yesterday with no heating!
  • I have a UU to report from the morning:

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Exotic fragrance - WBA and actually already have as there is another one in the stash. For now though, I am trying the brunette one with a hint of colour. I don't use dry shampoo too often, but it is nice to have if you're having a "bad hair day" or it just needs a bit of life!! Im going to the gym tonight, so there was no point in washing my hair this morning.

UU #9: Garnier Minerals Anti-Perspirant Spray 250ml; WNBA, I only use roll-on these days, but found this (and two other sprays) lurking in the back of the big bathroom cupboard. I like the Minerals range though.

Just burned the roof of my mouth off with soup -- why is is always lukewarm or nuclear? Never just right :(
