I chucked all my shampoos and conditioners in the bath when I was doing my list, and it was more full than that
    :o

Had to go to Marks for dinner stuff, so nipped into the big Boots next door on the retail park; the shelves have been decimated! I thought about a Girl-o-Whirl but I really, really do not need any more make up. I had picked up a Fearne body butter/polish/wash combination but when I saw the queue I dumped it and left. Halo still intact :A

    1 more UU;
Co-op Freshmint Toothpaste 100ml (DSs hate really minty toothpaste), it's been replaced with a "stock" item.

I'm about to get myself and the boys showered, so I may be back later with more empties!

  • Had a look at Boots' sale on my phone at lunchtime, but everything I was tempted by was out of stock! Probably for the best...

My Nip+Fab serum is starting to splutter occasionally, really don't want it to finish tho as serum is one of the few things I have no spares for!

I have been inspired by this thread to sort out all my toiletries and write up an inventory. I didn't think I had a problem, but I was wrong! I won't write everything but here's a summary:

    Body Butters: 15
    Body Lotion: 9
    Body Scrub: 4
    Shower Gel: 16
    Hand cream: 10
    Soap: 7
    Shampoo: 11
    Dry Shampoo: 4
    Conditioner: 10
    Hair Treatments: 10
    Foot Cream: 2
    Deodorant: 6
    Face Scrub: 2
    Cleanser: 6
    Toner: 2
    Moisturiser: 6
    Face Masks: 12

So some areas aren't too bad, some I probably have a good few years worth! Like shampoo :D

I'm going to try and not buy any toiletries now, I would love to say for a year, I can't see that happening, let's try 6 months!

Who else is on a total ban?

Have you seen my stash list? Yours is tame in comparison! I'm trying to put myself on a total ban, although I have had the odd temptation. I 'discovered' a forgotten bag yesterday full of all kinds which has strengthened my resolve and led to me buying NOTHING in the Boots sale, as compared to £195 last year!

Oh dear, honey, that doesn't sound good. May I recommend this* as your next purchase. I have found it very informative and helpful, and although I'm not quite 100% there myself, it has been very helpful indeed. :o xxx

    * I haven't price checked it so Amazon might not be the cheapest place to buy it. Or you could get it from the library and save yourself the space! ;)

This wasn't a phishing email was it? I've never been asked to update my password before, although I have had to change it from time to time when I have forgotten it. Anyone else had this?

I bought a very similar book years ago. I came across it recently in the middle of all the clutter! :rotfl:

I got a PM asking me to change my password. Haven't done it as yet.

    Hi all.

Such naughty ladies some of you have been today. I had a look on Boots website but I wanted a couple of non toiletry things which were showing in stock but it wouldn't add them to the basket even though it said it had. I gave up after a bit.

    .

I had the same problem. I HATE the Boots website. Why can't it update when something goes out of stock? There's 600 items listed as being in the sale but most of them are out of stock. You have to trawl through the whole lot and if you hit the back button you lose your place or it throws stuff out of your trolley.

She calls that a stash? That looks like the bare minimum to me.

I don't have a bath but I'm not convinced all my stash would fit in one! I could always try stacking them in the shower!

  • Oh dear, I'm joining the naughty step.

Woke up at 5.30am and couldn't resist having a look at the boots website.

Ordered 7 items (5 being toiletry sets). However, received an email saying some of the items are out of stock so won't count them as ins just yet. Maybe I won't have to join the naughty step after all!

Also popped into boots on my way home as needed mouthwash and deodorant (just running out and nome in stash). Bought a soap and glory bronzer set and a sanctuary mini set. I'm not counting make up in my stash, but that's 3 in. Whoops.

Still counting up the stash - been busy at work - hope to update at weekend :-)

How did everyone else do resisting the boots sale?
