No buying unnecessary toiletries in January 2014

UU a Wilkos lip salve, went into my local Boots nothing worth buying in sale so won't be going. Might try online though;)Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
UU: Santuary Spa body scrub. A gift from a friend, I really like the scent and WBA (in fact I already did buy again in the sales!) It's really nice in the travel size bottles, as I travel about quite a bit.0

Had a mini splurge today especially in Boots where prices are still too high with the 50% off, especially the slipper boots. There were tons of them in Westside, Shepherds Bush and I don't think there will be a demand for them unless they are discounted further.
Anyway, INS:
Fearn Kiss & Tell Lip Crayons - pack of 4 reduced to £5, it was the last one left so must be quite popular. It also has a sharpener which is uite handy.
2 x Boots Radox-type bubble baths
2 x Cotton wool pads
2 x FCUK Urban Duo body wash and spray - 75% off, reduced to £2.50
8 packs of Superdrug sanitary towels - Buy one, get one half price. Very good substitute for Always which seems to be getting more expensive.
Olive oil soap from Holland & Barretts: Im going to try and make my own body wash with all natural ingredients.
Outs:
NYC Black nail polish - So glad this has finally finished. Used all the dregs which means I have a very messy manicure which will need to be removed very soon.
Beauty Works West Anti-ageing body treatment - Will finish it tonight, very small pot which I won in a raffle. WNBA - smells lovely but not moisturising enough for my skin.0 -
Hello from the naughty step, where I will firmly remain for the rest of the month!
As predicted, I have INs - I woke at 5 and couldn't sleep so placed an online order, then popped into, ahem, a few stores on my way into work, and then just placed another online order
So INs:
1-3. Soap & Glory Butter Yourself 300ml x 3
4-6. Soap & Glory Foam Call 500ml x 3
7. Soap & Glory Facial wipes x 25
8. Soap & Glory Smooch Operator Lip Balm
9. Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack Gel
10. Soap & Glory Feel Good Factor moisture lotion
11. Champneys Distant Shores Body Scrub 50g
12. Champneys Citrus Blush Shower Gel 200ml
13. Champneys Citrus Blush Body Lotion 200ml
14. Champneys Skin Comforting Bathing Milk 300ml
15. Champneys Distant Shores Body Butter 50g
16. Champneys Hand & Nail Cream 40ml
17. Jenny Packham Salonniere Body Butter 250ml
18. Jenny Packham Salonniere Body Wash 150ml
19. Jenny Packham Salonniere Body Polish 150ml
20-23. Sanctuary Mande Lular Body Souffle 100ml x 4
24-27. Sanctuary Body Butter 100ml x 4
28-31. Sanctuary Relax Coccooning Body Butter 100ml x 4
I think that's it
Items 17-31 are online orders so may not arrive but will count as INs for now. I also ordered several gift items but won't count these, and some of the above may be gifed, but probably not
You wouldn't think I already had several litres of body butters stashed, would you?! This has set me back, but for a fairly low spend (I used £34.50 of points and only "paid" £19.80) my stash is now almost certainly stocked up on all my essentials - shower gels, scrubs, body lotions - to last me the rest of the year. There, I've justified it (if only to myself!)MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Seriously don't know how to declutter, I have so many books, clothes, shoes etc etc (oh yeah and toiletries
) that the mess is making me ill at the thought of going to look for something!
Asset, you could be me! My whole abode is full to the brim! To make matter worse, I have bought things in the Boots sale (well, not worse, it saves me a lot of money in presents over the year, but I need to try to be a refrain from buying too many pretty extras and I still have to store them). I'm starting the decluttering this weekend. Ironically, I've spent weeks round at one of my relative's house helping declutter there...that house looks amazing...you should see mine! (We need to join the declutter thread or start a splinter thread that smells and looks amazing cos of all our toiletries! :rotfl:)Sundaysgirl wrote: »Hello from the naughty step, where I will firmly remain for the rest of the month!

Fancy some, SG? We are going to be here for a while. Show me what lovelies you got. I actually really do need shower gels, although I still have some stuff left over from last year's Boots saleso I'm going to break them. (That sounds really bad but I based what I bought last year on what I bought the year before, which I GA entirely. This year has been less present-intensive. I am being stricter about what I buy this year to reflect that fact. There will be less. I hope...a friend is getting me some stuff from a Boots near her as my local didn't have that much. I'm not sure what she has managed to get until I get back home tonight. It's like Christmas all over again. :rotfl:)

Oh, I can go one further - some of the gift sets I bought last year are still in the carrier bags! I was planning to gift them but ended up not needing to, but I don't want to break into them until I have to as I may still gift them at some point, IYSWIM!
Nice to have some company Pickle - I'm sure lots of others will be joining us soon (I spied kadison on the Grabbit thread, so come on and 'fess up ladies - or are you all still in MrB's / refreshing the website?!)
Mr SG is resigned to my sale shopping but I'm not looking forward to show and tell later - or on Saturday when he realises there is yet more from online (and to make matters worse my messed up D&G set is now finally ready for collection so that will be another 2 INs!!!)! Might keep bags hidden at work and sneak them home gradually, though heavens knows where I am going to house everything when I do - I too have a house which is full to the brim with "stuff"!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

I'm having problems logging onto this site from home. About a week ago I got an email from the techie people asking me to update my password which I did. It works fine here at work on Firefox but at home on Google Chrome I can't get in. Any ideas how I can rectify this?
Another UU (sadly still not from the PP List) : Small tube of L'occitane Fleur D'or Accacia. Very nice. I got this in a set together with the soap I finished this week and a small bottle of EDT. Am wearing the EDT this week. It will go with any floral fragranced shower gel I have though so am not repurchasing the full sizes. I may do in the future though.
Repainted my finger nails last night and am wearing Nails Inc Mink. Tried to remove the gellish from my toe nails last night using foil and still it will not budge!
Watched the launch of the new OPI colours on QVC last night (recorded from the night before thankfully as there was a One Time Only priced set on and I know I would have probably caved and ordered it even though none of the colours really wowed me, if I'm honest).Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I do, but alas, I've learned my lesson about toiletries going off! I really actually do need shower gel, so I'll see what I've got in my sales stuff that I haven't received yet and decide what to use first...the first rule of retail is stock rotation, innit?!Sundaysgirl wrote: »Nice to have some company Pickle - I'm sure lots of others will be joining us soon (I spied kadison on the Grabbit thread, so come on and 'fess up ladies - or are you all still in MrB's / refreshing the website?!)
They must be home by now...even the most dedicated Boots sale shopper (normally me) doesn't take this long. I think some people may be hiding. (I'm sure a few of them are at work earning to pennies to buy all those things, but that's a poor excuse!

Oh dear, honey, that doesn't sound good. May I recommend this* as your next purchase. I have found it very informative and helpful, and although I'm not quite 100% there myself, it has been very helpful indeed.xxx
* I haven't price checked it so Amazon might not be the cheapest place to buy it. Or you could get it from the library and save yourself the space!I'm having problems logging onto this site from home. This wasn't a phishing email was it? I've never been asked to update my password before, although I have had to change it from time to time when I have forgotten it. Anyone else had this? Please call me 'Pickle'

Hi all.
Such naughty ladies some of you have been today. I had a look on Boots website but I wanted a couple of non toiletry things which were showing in stock but it wouldn't add them to the basket even though it said it had. I gave up after a bit.
Have another uu
Ren Hydra Calm Global Protection Day Cream - 15ml, WBA.
I haven't ever had an email from MSE about anything.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
