  • Mooloo I had my yearly mammogram yesterday afternoon and I concur it definitely hurts, how can it not when your boobies are squashed between 2 plates.

I think if men had to have their bits examied like this they would have found a less painful way.

well Friday was just too hectic.
Yesterday I took it easy and didn't even get up until mid morning!
Then I went shopping. I needed to replace the Toaster that kept tripping the electrics the weekend before, and to buy a pair of shoes. It took me she's to get any shoes that I liked that were not skyscrapers or complete flats. I ended up in TKMaxx and there I had a choice of two pairs, I chose the practical black over the blush pink.
    What an effort.
Had a relaxed evening with a bottle of wine and the Telli.
I am only just getting up now.
I should be being productive, but I am enjoying the respite from the children.

treated myself two days on the trot. Bought some new undies from Primark, looked at lots of clothes in several shops, want trousers, but unless I want skinny jeans I was out of luck. Think I better get my act together and make my own as I can't see anything I like. Am I getting fussy in my old age?
DGD collected, and she's now swimming around in the pool, trying out her new swimming costume, ( one of three), I couldn't shop for me without buying her something. Mind you age 8/9 costume and she's still only 6! I think I'm breeding a giant!
It's a lovely hot day, the lawn is now cut, and I'm sitting watching DGD, my excuse for not being able to go indoors and get on with anything!

Think I will have to go to Asda. Although if I had time I probably should make some. Then I know that I will get what I want. ( although it's been a while since I made trousers.)
DGD is sleeping less and less. She was fiddling with a wobbly tooth last night till 10pm she was up and down. I was getting rather exasperated by then. ( tooth finally came out.)
Then she was awake at 5.40! I need my sleep, as with my need to go to the loo three or so times a night, I get really badly interrupted sleep. It's exhausting.
I am going to the recycle centre today, wish I wasn't, as there is enough to do at home. Tomorrow is my birthday, so I know that I won't get very much done, Tuesday is usually my most productive sewing day at home.
    Oh well.
Better get an energy boost somehow, so I can get things done. We go on holiday next Wednesday. Eek and double eek. There is so much to do.

I nearly walked out at work today. My room had another dogs poo in it, and my scissors had been "borrowed" I was not happy. Thank goodness my friend was in across the road and I could calm down. Boss rang me as someone in the warehouse must have told her I complained.
I don't think I'm being unreasonable to expect a dog poo free zone!
I am about to walk. I have had enough of crap conditions.
Maybe this will push me to actually sort out work for me here at home that's more consistent. Put Mooloos before Thriftee.
I did stay, and will go in Thursday and Monday because after that I am on holiday. I will see how I feel when I get back, and I see where I am to work in the new shop! But my heart is not in it at the moment.
Salad for tea for me. DGD wants noodles.

That sounds revolting!!! Who on earth is taking a dog that isn't trained into work?

As fort he scissors, are they yours, as in bought by you?

If you are intending on staying, have you got a lockable drawer?

The scissors are actually theirs, but they are the last pair that I could use to cut fabric, as paper blunts scissors. But they were supposed to supply everything. More and more I am using my own things to keep the work flowing, and it's really annoying. At £7.17 an hour I really am wasting my time and talents. ( especially during holiday time when it costs me £25 a day for DGD care, and £8.75 + fuel.
Add using my threads, ribbons, fasteners etc that doesn't really leave me much).
I'm hanging on as the new shop is around the corner, so too speak, but the costs are really becoming unjustifiable).

Last night I was so tired, I used Herbal sleeping tablets, sleep mist, lavender gel, and tried to relax. Did it help? Not really, I was up 4 times for the loo. ( dispite only having one lemonade at 6, and a tea at 7.30!)
Oh well can't blame a girl for trying.
I hung dark material over DGDs windows, seems to have worked as no early morning jump on granny. Either that or she has decided to be very quiet as a birthday treat for me!!!
Having a cup of tea in bed, before I launch myself into the day. Shower, do last nights washing up, and get ready for the school run, before attacking the ironing etc before it causes an avalanche!
Hopefully out to lunch and a stroll in the sunshine somewhere. Not decided yet.
Now getting excited about our holiday, so paching may be on the agenda too.
