Something else occurs to me - I don't know whether there is a branch close enough to you to make it worth your while visiting, but curtain/furniture retailer Paul Simons is going into liqudation and the stores are selling everything off - my friend got loads of curtain samples (almost 1 sq metre, plus lining and curtain heading) for £2.50 each!

I will google Them and take a look. Although I do have rather a lot of fabric! You'd have to see it to believe it.
I've just taken DGD to see her Mum. She's had help clearing up so DGD can stay for the night.
Although I've only been home 10 minutes and she was on the phone!
I said I'm not going back till the morning.
I've informed the utilities of Twin2's leaving, and I have sent the keys back recorded delivery.
I've made another thermal bag. Different shape, now on my Facebook page.
Time for my dinner now. And an evening at home all alone.
Bath? bubbles and candles may just be on the cards.
And possibly I will cut out another bag.
I want to look at those handbag organisers too. That got delayed last week.

I have been making a prototype bag organiser. It's ok, but I need to simplify it a bit before I make them for anyone else.
I will try again tomorrow.
At least I have started.
Time to relax now.

Ugg. Another wet and grey day. So much for the idea of going to the local NT gardens and getting fresh air etc for us.!
I have a few hours to myself before I go and get DGD from her Mums.
Then I have a customer coming for a beach dress I made for her at lunchtime.
The rest of the day was going to be out doors! So come on Sunshine where are you? ( to be fair I never checked the weather forecasts!:( just hoped!)

How about going swimming? My brother and I are going to take his kids later this morning. The under 3s take a free adult with them, 3-8s are free with a paying adult. Not that we get much actual swimming done, as they're too little at the moment and need constant supervision... there is also soft play at the pool if it continues raining!

Are there any local NT places with indoor activities going on for half term that DGD might like?

Just off to get DGD. Back for lunch and customer.
May have to investigate the pool times. But I hate swimming pools. Even on holiday I hardly ever swim.
But She does like going swimming. So maybe I will have to put my feelings aside and do what she likes. ( I also hate theme parks etc etc- I have a claustrophobic type fear of being in crowded places which doesn't help at all).
