Soft play and swimming was noisy. But the kids loved it, it wore them out, and gave me and my brother a chance to chat...0

Your brave! Last time I went to soft play. About a year ago, the noise was incredible and I had a migraine! Maybe I'm just too old!
Today I have had two confirmation orders for Thermal bags.
Yeah. That will help towards the deficit in my wages from Monday.
Old friend of mine had a car accident. Wrapped his car around a lamppost. We were first on the scene. Luckily he was ok, just shaken. He'd skidded on the wet roundabout. I've lost the back end on ice there before.
I stated with him till help arrived. DGD was very good, stayed in the car, so was treated to a McD on the way home as we had missed lunch.
Customer collected her dress, she was happy. Then I had two alterations knock on the front door. Things are looking better. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Swimming was booked up, so we had to wait for 40 minutes. Soft play was better than hanging about doing nothing. It's quite a small one, so they can go in on their own. We sat and drank coffee and chatted0

Don't look at the time! 1.36 as I type this.
I got busy cutting out and sewing 2 thermal bags. Finished one, the second just needs filling, but after dropping a bowl full of polystyrene beads at one stage it was time to stop. Then I realised it was 1AM!!!
eek. Picture on my Thermal Cooking Bags page you know where. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Lazy morning, after a lay in till nearly 9!
Friend over for a cuppa and a little friend for DGD to play with.
Then friends husband has just been to measure up for shelving in the workroom.
Off to post one of the bags that's been paid for.
The rain has finally stopped!
Have decided to cut another bag out tonight, and start to make some stock.
I better not stay up quite so late though! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning, had a mixed bag of a day yesterday. My brother actually Skyped me to say thanks for the Thermal Bag my parents took over to France.
twin 2 also skyped me. She looks rather pale and forelorn.
in the morning we had visitors, then at lunchtime the man too measure up my shelves for my workspace. The sun briefly graced us in the afternoon so we posted a thermal bag, and visited the park. Then in the evening I started to add silver trim to a Frozen dress, until BF came over. We all watched BGT so a late night for DGD.
Then twin2 messaged me. Would you believe the girl I kicked out of her house is demanding money, threatening her with the police and bailiffs! Poor girl was so upset. I told her she's all mouth. What would they do? Anyway told her to block her. Ignore her, she hasn't got her address in Cornwall anyway. I also said if somehow she does contact her tell her to deal with me! ( counter claim for the thousands of pounds damage her and her boyfriend did to the housing, and what about, rent, and electric, water etc!! Girl is dilluded). But it got twin2 in a panic.
I hate these people that pray on the vulnerable and the law is an !!!!
And breathe!
Around bedtime I got an order for another thermal cooking bag. From someone from MSE. Yeah! Spreading the word is helping me to help get orders. If I can sell one more this week I will have recouped the wages I lost for not going into the recycle centre this week, ( and no childcare costs to offset! ).
Bf was off too work at 6am. I had a cuppa and was supposed to be going back to sleep, but Monkey is up, so that's put paid too that one. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
We invited a friend over for a sleepover tonight. Just got a message to say that she's coming over at 12! Eek. I haven't been shopping, haven't much kiddy food in, as had planned to go to Aldi about lunchtime!
Oh well, that's my day all up turned.
Such is life. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Have not managed to achieve anything today.
DGD has a friend over, and there is cut up bits of paper everywhere.!
I fear it's going to be a very long night.
Twin1 has messaged to say that she has cleaned the filter in her washing machine and it's now working. Phew. Hadn't budgeted for replacement and of course twin2's machine was too heavy for me to move so it stayed there.
I am really tired as I kept waking up last night, went to the loo 4 times! In 6 hours, so not much sleep at all really.
It's a dull grey day and dispite my daylight bulbs being on all day I still feel yuk.
Kids have had sausage and chips for tea. Neither touched their baked beans.
Both want to play on my iPhone which has caused the battery to run out, and the kindles, so now they are finally playing with a huge box and the Sellotape.
I put the shopping off, but have no choice but to have to shop tomorrow. No fruit, very little milk, and out of matches and washing up liquid!
Not normal for me. I just hate supermarket shopping.
I have gathered together the material for the latest ordered bag. But not cut out as the kids are playing on the floor. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
So next time you invite a friend for a sleep over Mooloo, you will be stating times of delivery and collection before agreeing anything??I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
-
Kids still awake 5 mins ago. But I have come up to bed now. Bone weiry.
Have not managed to see today. Well I did start to put a zip in a dress but it went wonky, so out it had to come again!
Have another enquiry on Facebook about the thermal bags, hoping it will turn into an order. 7 a week would cover the short fall in income I was talking about in April.
Good night from a very tired Mooloo. ( my left side of my face is drooping so I've overdone it again!)When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
