I think you have done remarkably well not to have given the Twins any money until this weekend.

The thing is before you made a the decision not to give them money you were helping them weekly or twice a week and now it must be at least 3 to 4 weeks since you gave them money.

It will take time but you will get there.

I have told them I need it back when they get paid. (Will also ask for it- even if I doubt I will get it back). Perhaps it's time to sit down with their budget again.
Meanwhile, I will try and make better use of my time, and try and earn myself some extra with the sewing. It's been a bit sparse this last month, due to all the holidays and the week in France, I have only had one day a week at the Recycle centre.
There are several small jobs to tackle, and the tea rooms that messed me around have not paid, so I need to go down there and embarrass them into paying their debt!!
Now that I have a dedicated work room, hopefully I will find it easier to actually work. I aim to "go to work at 10-4" on Tuesday, and alternate Fridays, when I don't have Babysitting Duties, and possibly after DGD has gone to bed, put in a few hours in the evenings. We will see.
Eventually I want to work from home and sell my stuff myself, but I need to get stock started, and learn how to improve my website first.
Which may take me some time.

Are you still working for the company that has you re-model clothes?

Yes. I am still working for them. Do Mondays and Thursdays. But with all the bank holidays I have not been able to do two days.
I want to do the remodelling for myself but really need to learn how to do the website and the photography. Baby steps I suppose.
There was a message on my answer machine about making a dress for someone, but it will depend on what she wants, and when by, whether I can do it or not.
dGD was in the wars today at school. Someone cut her hair in class, lobbed a chunk out of her ponytail. I may have to cut 8" off of it to even it out. Lovely long blonde hair will have to go. Not happy. But I suppose kids will be kids and it will grow again.
She also tore her trousers, lost her brand new cardigan, and took the toes out of her new (3 weeks) shoes completely down to the lining fabric.
    Not her day then?

Put the spare TV in my work room, as I like to sew with it on, but the ariel isn't working! Wonder if the damage was done when the council were up there on the roof a few months ago? Wouldn't know as TV downstairs is via the sky dish. But upstairs was a digital aerial.
So no TV while I work until I can afford to get a man that can out.

Took in some clothes for recycling for a new friend. So that's one lot of bags sorted for her. And I'm pleased to know my scales were accurate and so I had given her the right amount of money, which I got back today. I like it when I can help someone else, (even better when I don't loose out!) :)

Tomorrow I am hoping to work in my new room, and hope it will take shape soon.

If DS decides he wants to move back in now, please find the strength to say NO otherwise it's going to disrupt all the new plans and re-arrangements you've put in place :A

No I won't be letting him move back in. I couldn't take the smoking, the music, the visitors, not to mention the cost of food, etc etc.
I intend to spend this year building up my sewing business.

Don't worry, if she starts having any wobbles about letting DS move back in I'll go round and talk some sense into her :)

    I am adamant I won't be!
I am looking forward to working in my room tomorrow. I have a lot to do. Finally got paid from the tea rooms for the few aprons that she had.
Have a few phone calls to do in the morning, and council want my accounts. Asking for audited ones, but I don't have them audited. They will get a print out from my on line accounts and that's that.

Spent the morning clearing and reclaiming the front room. Looks so much bigger now. Then this afternoon I made another thermal bag, which is on my Thernal Cooking Bag Facebook page.
I wanted to put it on my Mooloo site, but first have to get photographs off of phone and onto laptop.
Technology still gets the better of me.
Have a customer ring me about making a top for her. Think I will make a toile first. She brought such lovely fabric along.
Have 40 minutes before I collect DGD from after school club so just catching up with all my online bits and bobs.
