morning, rather bleary eyed dispite being awake 35 mins. Had my first cup of tea and now DGD has climbed in with me trying to wrangle another day off school, no way Jose, she's got breakfast club, and school. I collect her at 3.15pm
This morning I have DGD2, all day actually. Last nights sewing client arrived on time, paid too. Going to take her too my parents, Dad is giving me his lawn mower as he's getting a smaller one now he's 82 it's a bit heavy for him. Least I will be able to cut my lawn again and not rely on BF.
Mind you the forecast is rain so it may not be today.
Time to get on and make the pack up for DGD. School
    In an hour.

Well we didn't have rain, but I didn't manage to get the lawn mower out of the car. Today of course it's now raining, and I have work at the recycle centre. Least I hope so, not sure if I will have much work for long, as they are having to move premises. Depends where they move too. The shop side is going to Bedford. I'm not going that far to work.
DGD2 was good but needed attention so I didn't get to work until after 8pm last night. So it was gone 11 before I finished the thermal bag that had been ordered. Need to work out how to pack and post it now!

Busy day. I have been appliqu!ing Tshirts all morning, and altering shorts and skirts this afternoon. Then it was a dash to Towcester to drop Twon2's replacement tablet to her, and do my Aldi shop, collecting Twin1 and her and her BF and their shopping and giving them a lift home. Before collecting DGD from after school club. Now it's cooking tea, shopping away and homework! Except I don't understand what they are asking to do so no hope of DGD doing it. It just doesn't make sense to me. A trip to speak to the teacher tomorrow then.
BF is due over this evening, so no sewing tonight.
Hope we will start to look for holidays etc as I would still like a proper holiday this year.
Trip to the post office has to wait until tomorrow.

    Where has the day gone?
Up at 6am with BF, did packed lunches etc. Walked to school as the sun was shining. Came back with one of my friends who is going to earn a little pocket money and help me reorganise and clean up the house over the next few weeks.
    We have hatched a plan.
The spare bed goes this evening.
Then when BF comes over tomorrow he can help me move my desk upstairs. So I can get the sewing out of the sitting room.
Bought a lot of fabric though! Lady was selling her aunties stash, so spent £30 on 4/5 black sacks full of fabric. So looking forward to creating with it all.
Have DGD2 this afternoon so haven't done much.
    But had a few cuddles!
Got to get DGD in about 45 minutes. Once the children are in bed, and the bed gone, I will be able to get the bags in and have a good rummage! My idea of heaven. On the cheap.
Had a phone call out if the blue from a fellow MSE lady. Hopefully I can help her with recycling some things soon, and who knows I may make a new friend too! X

I started labelling and photographing my fabrics yesterday, but only got about 1/4 way through the new stuff. I say new, it's all vintage in the real terms. Mostly nylon and crimpelene, etc from the 60's and 70's. So what I actually use them for is going to be interesting. I had more than 30 pieces of fabric in the first bag, so I suppose if I wanted too I could sell it individually on EBay if nothing else. although I may dig out some 60's patterns and make some authentic vintage clothes!!! Could be a good idea.
Time to crack on, so much to do.
DGD has been up for two hours watching TV and playing and I've been sitting in bed drinking tea! So lazy as I didn't go to bed until 1am!!!

I've been busy since I got up. DGD and I went to the shops, and the park. Then when we got back we had lunch, followed by two hours cutting the lawn. Hard work but I finally did it. Thanks to my Dad giving me his mower. I couldn't start my mower, a petrol one, and relying on others was not good. I hope I will be able to keep on top of it myself now.
Then after a cup of tea, I started to move all my sewing stuff up stairs! My legs are aching after going up and down them so much. But a good lot of my stuff is now up there. Still a bit to go, including the desk etc, but I can't do that on my own. Have to wait for BF.
    I have a stinking headache.
Wonder if DGD will watch the TV if I go for a soak in the bath. And take a few paracetamol.

I've just had help moving the rest of my desk upstairs, so I'm hoping to get my sewing stuff set up too Mooloo. Then I'll have to remember how it works!

All my sewing stuff is now upstairs, except the magazines, and books. But no room yet. I still need to put everything where I want it. But my neck hurts and I have a headache from it. So it's going to be another days work, and an early night for me.
With BFs help the desk went upstairs, the furniture down here got rearranged. The shed got tidied up and a load of junk went with him to the tip. Now we can get DGDs bike etc back in the shed.
I have been sewing my patchwork pieces infront of the TV. And keeping the washing moving.
Met one of you lovely followers today. Helping her by taking some clothes to cash in, and was gifted a loaf of bread, and a beanbag, that I can use the filling from for my thermal bags! Those kind of gifts are just fantastic.
Both twins have had to borrow money this weekend:( not thrilled that I gave in!
I was doing do well with saying no as well!
Time to get DGD to bed and then get ready to go myself. Watch TV in bed possibly. Night all.
