  • Well done Mooloo - you so deserve such a good first day.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

A slower day today, but still had jobs to do, so I was busy. Lots of interest on lessons. So tomorrow I will be on the laptop etc working on my courses. Also interest in children's sewing parties! Now I hadn't thought of that one. But a tote bag, to personalise would be a good one.
I have still got to finish a few other home jobs. Thermal bags still need to be done. No peace for the wicked. Of course twin1 let me down on having DGD, but luckily Biggest of Mooloo was child free, so she came over and helped me. Bought me a lovely bunch of flowers.
Then home this evening and the door knocked. A lady with a bunch of flowers and a return of my tens machine that shed borrowed when hers broke the day before her holiday.
I was happy to help, especially as I had received the machine several years ago from one of us here on MSE. When I had needed it.
    The flowers are a bonus!
My back aches today, so hopefully I will get around to a hot bath when DGD goes to bed.
May not have been the child free weekend I had been looking forward too, but with twin 1, I really am not surprised.
Thanks for all the well wishes etc.
I shall have to see if I can access one of those sites that MSE accept photos from so you can see how things are shaping up!

It's been a lovely day, so we used our National Trust membership and spent the afternoon going around Cannons Ashby house.
It was interesting. Beautiful garden and unusual house.
dGD had a task to find as many lions as possible all the way through the house and gardens. We didn't go as far as the Church though. But I had a cream tea, and DGD had a lolly and coke.
I had a bag of bits and pieces given to me, via a lady I bought something from on Facebook, so the challenge now is to see how much I can make out of it!
It's a glorious evening here but it's time to work now.

Glad you had a lovely afternoon x
I agree Canons Ashby is very pretty and unusual too.

I don't think it will be as busy on a Saturday esp in the afternoon except for Farmers Market days - perhaps thats a good time (Saturday PM) for your classes?

It will be busy on Friday cos of the weekly market but lots of people walking by and looking in whilst I was there x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Mooloo, you must live in my neck of the woods if you went to Canons Ashby house. Children's sewing parties, what an excellent idea :)

  • Sending you good wishes, Mooloo. Hope you aren't underselling yourself, although I know how hard it is to know how to price things up!
