Happy Wednesday everyone.
Just a 4 day week for me so just today and tomorrow to go :-) on Friday DD2 has her assembly and then I have the afternoon to myself so I may go for a bike ride.
Welcome Crunchy! Nice to 'see' a new face!
Yesterday was a lovely day. Our boss was in a fab mood as it is sunny. My colleague and I had our lunch on a nearby green on a picnic blanket. The after work I went for an hours swim which was really refreshing and great to have a bit of me time as I'm always either at work or with the kids. Then home to have dinner outdoors in the sun
One expense yesterday was my colleague coming in with new cubs polo shirts to see if I wanted one for DD2. DD1 has one for guides so I thought it would be nice for DD2.
Today I have to spend some money. It is my sisters last 2 exams of her A Levels today and she has worked so hard. So I thought I would get her some flowers and a card to say congrats. I have some currency to put in her card already as she is off on a little European trip for 3 weeks.
Other than that I have a packed lunch and a meal sorted for dinner.
Need to log on to my mobile account and drop my tariff as I am overpaying for what I get! That'll be a few pennies saved!

And a mad wave to say hello back Mrs S
Well I have had a lovely day. It is my flexi friday of the month and as there are no school hols I got the day to myself which is a rare occurrence! Went to DD2s assembly this morning for and hour and then I went for a bike ride to the sea and had a picnic for one! It was blooming lovely.
Then housework before the kids got back and we had DD2s friend for tea. I hate having other kids over as it really stresses me out o ensure they are doing something and having a good time! But all done and dusted now!
Tomorrow morning we need to sort a meal plan and then write a shopping list. I still have £10 off £50 spend vouchers so I want to get it as close as poss to £50! Watch this space.
Money is tight which isn't where I wanted to be at this point
Halved my mobile bill by going on a rolling tariff so I get more data a month but the same minutes and texts and I am paying £12 instead of £24.
Need to email my boss on Monday to point out she hasn't increased our wages like she should have done when the tax changed.
Right off to bed!

Happy sunny morning everyone
Well we had a lovely weekend though a little spendy. Saturday brought food shopping at £56 rather than £40. Messed up a little as we spent £12 on BBQ bits as we went to my mums for a BBQ Saturday evening. Then we spent £36 on flowers and plants for the garden. This included £10 for a reduced Japanese tree that hubby wanted. Though now we only need a few more bits and everything is complete in the garden.
Sunday we went for a walk around a national trust property. They are public footpaths so we didn't need to pay as we weren't going into the house. Then a second BBQ at MILs!
It is my nephews first birthday today so I have made him a pirate cake for his party. It isn't completely finish but I have time between 3 and 5 today as I finish work at 2.30. I just need to add a fiddly skull and crossbones, some flags, the number 1 and his name!
DD1 has Volleysport at the beach today. Luckily I sorted lifts for her last night. I really do need to learn to drive as it is making life so much more difficult being a mum
Had a rushed morning so just grabbed the elements of my lunch except a sandwich so I am going to have to buy one!! Grrrr! Just 10 more mins this morning and I could have made one!
So not a very motivational post this morning!

Morning MSE'rs
My nephews cake turned out well and his party was a success!
Long day at work today but this 11 hour day enables me to pick the kids up from school tomorrow and Monday.
DD2 is off to cub camp tomorrow night so we need to pack this evening. DD1 also has her leavers party tomorrow evening...I say party but they are actually running round with laser guns!
Good news yesterday was that our car passed the MOT with no work needed! This is fab news.
Plus I got an offer for my DB and SIL to have the kids on some Monday mornings in the holidays. So that will cut down the childcare!
Today I need to reconcile spends with my bank and sort out paperwork at home.
Also need to find DD2 some trousers for camp as they don't allow jeans and pretty much all she wears are jeans and shorts!

Morning my lovelies
Well yesterday was a success in that I found some perfect trousers in m0unt@in w@reh0use for £12.99 in the sale for DD2. These will last her quite a while and are nice and lightweight. Also got nurofen sachets and bite cream for £4.19 but we can use these again. Today I need to get insect spray! It's never ending!
Just a short day at work today. Looking forward to finishing. I really wish the weather was better
Good MSE news is that hubby said he has paid £400 off the small credit card which takes us under £5k - woohoo!
The un-MSE news is that he has just ordered his Samsung Galaxy S5 on a £30 a month contract. He currently only spends £10. I have been encouraging this purchase though as he is a man of technology and has had my old phone for the last 2.5 years so I could get the iPhone. It has been many years since he has had a new phone and been on contract. The only annoying thing was that he forgot to go through cash back so we lost out on £50! Never mind- it's done now.
Today
Buy cheap cakes for DD2 to take to camp
Shop around for cheapest bug spray
Lunch from stores
Check banking
Update figures
Email boss about April tax inc
Update calendar in the kitchen and iCal with upcoming events
That's me

Morning Diaryland
Well what a weekend. The busy Friday went well, got DD2 to cub camp and DD1 had an amazing evening at her leavers do run around in the mud in overalls with laser guns!
Saturday we went camp for the night with friends with DD1. It was a lovely evening and we only spent £7 on food and £15 on the pitch. So a really lovely weekend for just £22 :-)
We are all knackered now though so a bit zombie like. Only a short day at work so ill be pleased to get home!
Payday today! Woohoo! I will have to check it to see if my boss has added the small increase due to the tax change in April. If not ill have to grow some balls and tell her.
So bills to pay later :-) The plan is to pay to last £112 off hubby's small card to get rid if it. Then I will get rid of the small next balance and then see how my money goes. We have the start of the holidays in this wage packet and I need to buy hubby's glasses as his £400 payment has left him will little left!
Really got to knuckle down now!

Morning all, happy Tuesday!
Payday yesterday! Woohoo!!!

Extra spends expected;
Hubby's glasses £120
Extra bits for DD1s residential £40
School Fayre £15
Presents and cards for teachers £15
Extra bus trips for various events £8
Skittles sign up fee £5
So we shall see how it goes!
Will update sig when I am at a computer and not my phone!
