PSN account hacked, now I have it pay to get it back from being banned?

Sony might be able to see that the IP Address was different to your usual address but there is no proof that it wasn't you that accessed the account from a different location anyway.     You would think so but unless Sony state they will refund any monies to UK users as well as those in America then no they dont have to.

    I will query it with them tomorrow.
    It's not even the refund I'm after.. I'm after the account being cleared so I can use it again as I got the money back from the bank which they said wasn't an issue (at first)

    Just queried with them and they admitted sony Europe are a lot worse at refunds than sony USA.
    The guy was very on my side and agreed with everything I said and to query when a supervisor rings back

    What I meant was he was more on my side compared to everyone else I spoke to who was kind of rude and basically saying it is my fault...

    Whereas this guy was very relaxed, chatty and was speaking to me as if he knew me, and understood and actually agreed.

    I'll see what Head Office say... Hopefully they may change their mind now I've pointed out the Sony USA thing.. Yeah it's different divisions but same brand and company at the end of the day

    What sort of email address were you using?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?
