Hi inod - great that you are enjoying yourself. As you are on holiday I think you are entitled to relax and have a few treats. Just start again with the money saving when you get back.

I'm so envious - I love NY - it's one of my favourite places in the world - have a wonderful time in the Big Apple.

Love the sound of all of it. But especially the cherry red kitchenaid. I am a little bit jealous :p

  • So today was a visit to ground zero which is conveniently located beside century 21. This evening we will go to macys as OH will be purchasing 2 Kenneth Cole suits for $180 and I will no doubt pick up some bits and bobs. Otherwise it's just been a pockley kind of a day. No pressures or hassles - bliss. It's weird as although we try to get stateside each year, this is the first non winter visit. Things are so different. Tomorrow we will prob head out of town to visit dd at her annual summer job. Still, it'll be an experience. Hope all's good with you all.

I've never been to NY. Flown over it if that counts?! Haha. I am a US lover though. Off to Calif. next Friday :)

I'm also glad you are through the wedding and mum bit. Now you can enjoy the rest of your break.

  • So, today's our last day of holiday. Am currently waiting for oh to waken as I need the bed space to get the packing done. We've already booked an extra bag on the flight. Still, there's time for the sums when we get home. All in all, things went better than anticipated. It was a good break and once the wedding was out of the way, a destresser. I know there's lots waiting for me when I get back but i know that I'll get to it. Onwards and, in my case quite literally, upwards.

    Echoing Greying. :)

And hope you haven't got to go at mad pace on your return...get rid of any jet lag first. I felt drunk for 2 weeks, much to the amusement of DS and clients :rotfl:

  • Am back. Have had nap time as I've a ten o'clock meeting tomorrow 100 miles away. Just been ploughing thru emails and notice that m&s have their dine in offer to include rotisserie chickens. That plus using a green redeem voucher will start my MSEing and OH's return to his eating plan.

Welcome back :hello: Hope you had a great time, even with the less restful bits at the start. Hopefully the jetlag won't be too bad tomorrow!
